QUOTE(anakMY @ Jun 7 2019, 05:37 PM) But it’s mentioned in bigpay thread that It’s entitled for cashback via LFC. I can confirm with you as of now, LFC can entitle for the CB. But I am not sure for the month of July onward as there seem to have a change in TnC which exclude FPX. I can try it and report back but that will be next month.

QUOTE(beebee1314 @ Jun 8 2019, 03:29 PM) do you know what's FPX? bigpay don't go through internet banking. it uses other payment gateways. so how can be FPX? I dont really care BigPay goes through what type of payment, ultimately I just want to know whether I get the CB or not. There is a discussion on this and there are a lot of people saying that BP falls under FPX. Whether they are right or wrong, I also dont know. So the best thing is just to try it out next month.

OMG, it just came to my knowledge that Standard chartered interest calculation is different then all the other banks.... a totally ripoff calculation.
If you are late in your payment, your interest will be charge until your next billing cycle. Means, if you are late for 1 day... they will charge you interest for all the days until your next billing cycle. Not only for that 1 day late...
So late 1 day or 15 days = no difference...

QUOTE(avinlim @ Jun 25 2019, 05:51 PM) How can it be? means they are charging Future interest once you have even RM10 outstanding balance? AFAIK, you have RM1500 on your statement balance. when over due date you still have RM100 outstanding(Paid RM1500). Your RM1500 spending will hit by interest from the transaction date till the date you pay off total RM1500. Lets say your statement balance is RM1000 while having a statement billing cycle on every 15th of the month and you pay late (RM1000) 1 day. Suppose to pay by 28th of the month but you pay on the 29th. They will charge interest from the day of purchase until the next billing cycle. Dont care if you settle it 1 day late or 2 days late... they will charge from your transaction date to your next billing cycle.. You can call up the CS and ask, just ask if you pay late how? they will give you an example like above... This post has been edited by x-frame: Jun 25 2019, 06:27 PM
