Hi guys,

SCB charged me RM175 annual fee and I failed to request for waiver.
It said,
Upon checking, we regret to informed that we are unable to waive your annual fee charges for Liverpool FC Cashback credit card. Upon your annual payment reflected, you will entitle to redeem the Liverpool jersey..

Anyone able to waive the annual fee?

Got full waiver. No jersey.

It’s dependant on each individual. Not everyone will get it.

i would say given the number of credit cards that are better out there, it does not seem worth it to pay the annual fee, unless you face difficulty in clearing the installment or you are high spender, you maximise all possible rebate from all other cards.

LFC card is actually quite ma fan. you have to spend min 2000 to get the "5%" cash back. cards like public or affin does not have such restriction.

it may be good practice for future reference whereby only charge installment to credit card that you can afford to clear the installment anytime. the installment facility is just treat it as cash flow management, and better savings, but not to afford things that cant be afforded.
*
yes, hardly a big spender to get this 5% cash back honestly.
and now im looking for cards that have cash back for e-wallet.
its my phone instalment btw
