Has anyone tried out if myTNB is entitled for CB for ScJOP and ScCashback cards? Am preferring this method as it will instantly reflect payment, not sure if it is reflected instantly via uob payonline, SC online banking portal might take a while especially on some bills transactions.

so at the rewards site, how do you go about transferring the CB back to SC savings/current account ?
*
Not sure about savings account as I do not have one, hence I could only transfer CB back to each credit card. Is it because you'll not be spending on SC credit cards anytime soon and wanted the CB?
You can try calling helpline, most probably would require you to transfer to your credit card first, then email or write in requesting for transfer of additional balance to your savings account. At least that was the case with my CIMB credit card last time.

If i used SCB CB card to top up into my BigPay card, would the transaction be considered part of the retail transaction as per TNC? so i could join the spin and win campaign
*
Does BigPay top up qualify for spin and win?

Anyone else tried out any online utility payment methods which can earn spins?

SCB is charging me annual fee RM250 on my JustOne card.. Called them and they said they can't waive the fee. But when I applied for the card, I was told first year free annual fee. How? What is the terms and conditions? I don't think I have a bad record. Just didn't use it often.
*
They charge the annual fee in advance, you held the card without fees for 12 months right?

What's your take on this 0.5% (base) + 2% (deposit of 3k) + 1.5% (1k cc spending) +2% (insurance/UT) Privilege$aver account?

We can bag 4% easily (without the 2% on investment/insurance). This is better than Ocbc 360 where you only get 2.9% (without the 1.2% credit card spending which isn't worthwhile)

I see that JOP and Cashback Gold not in their eligible credit card list.
*
Ahh good catch, thanks

The credit card spend on Gold Cashback, JustOne Gold, JustOne Platinum Mastercard® and WorldMiles World Mastercard® credit cards are not eligible for bonus interest.

with big pay, they are almost equal

ocbc : deposit 500 + transfer 3 acct + 500 cc swipe = 4.1%

sc : deposit 3k + 1k cc swipe = 4%
*
Hmm can you clarify on the BigPay part? Top up 500 with OCBC cards to get the 4.1% is it? Hmm that makes sense and you can actually transfer it out to a bank account, think Boost for rm2 fee per 1k withdrawal?

SC is kinda out of the picture as JOP and Cashback transactions are not entitled

Precisely.

for sc, seems like cash back plat is not excluded in the tnc, if u hold cash back plat to achieve bonus interest, both ocbc and sc are similar, otherwise, ocbc will clearly be better since jop is excluded for bonus interest

p/s: for conventional ocbc 360, u can get the card bonus interest from either debit card or cc swipe, as long as you achieve 500 swipe, no cc involve, unlike sc, u need cc that is not excluded

Thanks!

If I read the tnc correctly, it should be max of 2 times cashback n not 2 spins per day. I’ve did 3 txn above RM100 in a day n received 3 spin n win sms
*
Seconded, max 2 wins (not spins) per day

Hopefully they will waive for you, because when SST RM25 is official, tons of ppl are gonna cancel and they will lose even more customers. If given a choice, they will not lose someone who transacts with their CCs

u should just use their transaction history n extract the csv file... at least u no need to do manual copy n paste...

Yes that would work as well, I currently use a Master Excel list to track all bills and spendings across multiple credit cards

Spin and Win for July transactions are in, reflected in online ledger.

Quick question, can we pay statement amount less any cashbacks we receive (be it spin and win or RM50/RM85 cashback from rewards page)?
i.e. RM1500 statement balance - RM50 cashback = RM1450 (only need to pay this instead of RM1500?)
