I've never used Jompay before, so wanted to check with those that have. Since I've read that my cashback card gives cashback for jompay but not insurance, my question is this: If I pay for insurance using Jompay (i just noticed allianz is a jompay biller) does the bank recognise it as a Government MCC or an Insurance one?

QUOTE(tifosi @ Jul 19 2019, 02:11 PM) For those who use LCB, for the RM 50 cashback, just beware that there's hidden T&C that have other exclusions aside from petrol and insurance. Just knew about this. Hey tifosi, how did you find out that it got tagged under MCC 8999? I tried calling the customer service to ask for the MCC of a similar health related transaction and they told me that they can't check from the system and that I have to go and ask the merchant myself. My hospital bill is tagged under professional services and MCC 8999 and it's excluded from cash back. It's not really an acceptable answer for me but I didn't pursue it further, I was already exhausted from being on hold for over 20 minutes while they checked with their manager (and getting disconnected once and having to explain my request all over again). |

QUOTE(kyxxx @ Nov 21 2019, 11:08 AM) hmm i have a question to users here I think it's quite clear there's no grace period in SC's case.i keep getting interest charges for late payment due date was 27th, payment date 28th, successful transfer on 29th and i still get interest charges for late payment? i mean there's no tolerance or buffer eh? unlike my citibank or hsbc i did not get such charges |

Just got my LFC SST and AF waived after I asked to cancel and got the call from the (cancellation?) dept. I was not going to accept but then they added an offer of a 6 month 0% BT max 10K as well.

QUOTE(kop2299 @ Jun 12 2020, 12:25 PM) Sorry for late reply, I don't check the forum very often. Yes, I asked to cancel after both SST and AF charged (in separate months, I was willing to pay the SST). Got counter-offer from retention team. kop2299 liked this post
