QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 24 2025, 11:07 AM) If it is a card that gives AF waiver for first year, then you don't need to pay for the first year. AF is charged first before using for the year. Yes, in your case, you will be charged in the next 12 months which is the second year. ok thanks, im new to credit card stuff let me try request if can be waived |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 24 2025, 11:54 AM) The card activated on feb/2024. Now it is march/2025, my statement now have annual fee transaction rm250. Is this already count as second year?because you said AF is charged first before using for the year, so means feb/2024 to jan/2025 should be free right? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 24 2025, 12:17 PM) Oh yeah, then this is the second year already. Good luck in requesting the waiver. If you have used the card after the AF is charged, then it is tough luck but may be possible. I still haven't used anything yet after AF is charged. So if they insist want to charge me, i just said cancel the card? |
