I applied for SCB JustOne Plat last week and got a call back from Price Solutions to verify the details before submitting to SCB for processing.

She said that it will take up to 20 days to process my application. However, what is actually the average processing time?

Hey everyone

Regarding my application, SCB tried to call my company from the number that they searched on Google. I don't know why but a wrong number is displayed there. I wanted to give them the right number but they say cannot as it must be through Google.

The another option to bypass the problem above is to do a thumb print. When I said that I don't have much time for it and don't see the relevance of a thumb print with company verification, they offered to come to my office to get the thumb print.

Has anyone encountered such problem before?

SCB uses snail mail or Post Laju to deliver the card?

In order to avoid SCB cross border fee in Shopee, the payment has to be done through Ipay88 instead of Cybersource.

However, how do I know if my interface is Ipay88 or Cybersource in my Shopee account?

Got charged by Shopee for Cross border transaction but the weirdest thing is that the portal that I keyed my OTP is IPay88.

In my TAC SMS, it's written Shopee Malaysia but just check on my statement and it showed as Shopee Singapore.

If Ipay88, IPAY88-SHOPEE in your SMS.

That is weird. I went through the Ipay88 site where I had to key in my CVV.

But you're right. I just checked my other TAC, it's stated IPay88. Damn.

If payment gateway is  ipay88, no cross border charge, then it is good, right? Why damn?

The payment gatway was ipay88 but in the TAC, it was Shopee Malaysia instead of Ipay88.

I didn't notice it as all of my cards have always went to Ipay88.

Hi guys, I had tried to apply for the SCB JOP card and I noticed in my CCRIS the credit limit under the application list (pending) is at least 20-30x my monthly income (which came up to 6 digits). Is this normal? Anyone has any experience on this?
*
I had the same exp when I applied in Oct. No idea why so big limit but when approved, the limit is adjusted to a more reasonable limit.

Hi

I am an existing JOP cardholder. If i request to get the LFC card, is it possible to request for cashback to offset the SST?

Anyone has done it before?

Hi, I have done instant transfer to clear my statement amount from Maybank entering my Stan chart credit card number. But it has been few days already that the amount is not showing in my standard chartered account. Is this normal?
*
Normally, SCB need one working day to process your payment.
Let's say if you transferred the money on Saturday. It will be normally be processed on Monday and will appear on your account on Tuesday.

However, the payment date will remain on Saturday. So, no risk on late payment charges if the due date is after Saturday.

Nope.

Prudential, 3 separate autobilling which total up to 800. Before the new changes came into effect it was always the same amount of spent. Never missed a single cent of cashback.

I have a Pru Autobill and bigpay payment. I got RM 60 in cashback.

CB revision started July right? For the above transactions i only got RM30 CB (from the CB i received few days ago), what's wrong with that?
PS: prudential is auto-debit
*
QUOTE(kyle_kl @ Aug 20 2019, 03:17 PM)
i think SCB unable detect it is an auto debit transaction.
if you read the t&c on auto debit part, one of the requirement is the transaction is tag as standing order / recurring order
try to check with SCB so they can fix it

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Aug 20 2019, 03:28 PM)
i'm not sure different Prudential got different description or not, mine is Prudential XXXXXXX, whereby XXXXXXX is the policy number, doesn't shows any MY or KUALA LUMPUR
*
I got RM 60 CB with a PRU autobill.

July 19 was my second autobill transation and the description is similar to tan_aniki where it has the word Prudential and Policy Number. It doesn't show any MY Kuala Lumpur, etc.

My first autobill transaction came under the name PRUDENTIAL ASSU X where X is my policy number.

There is no explicit tag for standing/recurring order.

Just to confirm, under JOP, jompay payments are considered online payment or just retail payment?

Currently holding JOP and will be charged with AF on 1st Nov 2019. In the worse case scenario where i cannot get the waiver, i will request for card cancellation.

However, to avoid paying for AF, I would like to know if it's necessary to clear the outstanding balance before the AF is charged on my card or I can clear the outstanding (excluding AF), after finding out that I cannot get the waiver?

I believe can call up to check for AF waiver eligibility, previously I called up cause my LFC new card does not match my JOP expiry date. So I asked if it would follow the activation date or the expiry date, CS confirmed it will be charged during the expiry month but she said is eligible to waive for both cards, just need to call up once charged.
*
I asked twice and they said that the eligibility can only be confirmed after AF has been charged...

hmm.. i just chat with CS but they cannot tell fr system whether i am eligible for annual waiver for my jop card which will due on Nov 2019.
*
Same case as you. I will wait for Nov 1st. When the AF is billed and the CS say no waiver, I will pay the outstanding and request for cancellation.

After that, see if they want to retain me or not.

Guys, had you gotten your cash back already for this month, mine statement was 28th Dec but till now i still haven't gotten mine.
*
SCB don't give cashback at the end of the statement date.

According to TnC, the cashback will be appear at 360 within 60 days after the calendar month but normally you can see it early next month.

finally got the call. now waiting 7 working days for the BT approval.

I thought that it should be given by SMS, instead of by call.

Today, I got a call from SCB commercial but I didn't answer. Was wandering if they want to propose the same thing....
