Dear all, wish to ask about SC gold cash back credit card. In their official website. It stated that, in order to get 5% , we spend RM1000 exclude petrol and insurance. Another RM 500 can include petrol & insurance? It is confusing as I call cs just now and she told me that the total RM1500 has to exclude petrol and insurance.. Anyone has experiences getting cb RM50 with less than RM1500 that exclude petrol and insurance? Thanks.

Anyhow you still need to spend >RM1500 to be entitled for RM50 rebate.

As long as you spend RM1500 (<RM500 can be spend in insurance / Petrol) within calendar month, full rebate will be obtain on following month.

What you read on the website is correct. CS is wrong in this case. I used to charge rm 480 worth of insurance payment monthly to this card (now moved to FCB already).

Need to spend Rm 1500 to trigger 5% cash back on eligible transactions (non insurance, petrol). Cap of RM 50 means you only need to spend rm1k on eligible transactions to maximize cash back. 500 can be on petrol, insurance. Effective cash back is only 3.33%.

Even if you spend less than 1k on eligible transactions, you still get 5% if you meet min spend of 1.5k. as an example, you spent rm 800 on insurance/petrol and 700 on others, you'll get rm35 cash back (5% of rm 700)

Thanks for the details explanations.
Conclusion, if I spend RM 1k on non petrol & insurance , and another RM500 for petrol and insurance (total spending RM1500), I will still get rebate RM50.
Thanks!

Hi, wonder anyone here paid for cukai pintu at counter using cash back master cc and received cash back?

In their TNC,
government service tax and any other form of service and miscellaneous fees are not considered as retail purchases.

Or anyone knows whether such transaction is applicable for cash back?

Thanks.

YES! They mention here government service tax(GST), not government related transaction.
I had swipe many times on government related transaction included cukai pintu and get CB.

Thanks for your info. Nice to know that.

can, just ask to waive and cancel the card cos u are not going to use it for another year
*
I called to waive yesterday too,
however the operator informed that since Nov 19,
SC changed the rules.
They will not waive annual fee for LFC anymore,
so we have to pay RM 175.
Did you guys received such info?

If I cancel my card immediately,
the cash back that I should get for Janaury spending,
will they bank into my acc also during Mac?

Thanks.

Without any tnc,
And walaa..
The annual fee already deducted from my acc..

Easiest is to reload into BigPay and then swipe from there...
Benefit:
- u can topup in multiples of RM100 to join the drift contest (win more cashback)
- confirmed cashback from Liverpool CC
- earn BigPay points

THanks for the feedback.
You mean BigPay credit card of AirAsia?
Is it issued from any Bank?

U already claim the gift via the redemption page?
Did you submit the IC front and Back for credit score checking?
Also when you submitted the document? During the campaign period?
Based on the TnC, looks like they announced earlier.
*
I did submit IC front and back in WhatsApp during application.
On the same day I submitted the IC copy - 7 Jan when I apply for credit card during this campaign.
