I got call from westerngeco to sign offer letter this monday. for position manufacturing specialist.
I got dilemma. I need to choose slb westerngeco btween army officer.
I used spm for entry level in slb
but for army officer I used my degree.
Furthermore I got petroleum eng degree.
my old man prefer army to play safe bcos thy afraid I join slb in production field (kilang).
nanti suka hati buang orang.

I dont know very well about slb.
but for example, kilang first solar when they want to reduce their staff,  they gave vss to thet employers. 

I mean for swasta especially manufacturing anything is insecure. but still I dont xpect slb is like that.

There is no technical questions. They would like to know your current job scope & they will ask questions why should they hire u?

I just received the offer letter 2days Ago. They offered 10% increment.. 13mth salary.. & up to 1.5 month bonus. It didnt impressed me..as my current employer is giving a btter packge and the salary offered cant event cover my living cost in kl..btw im working in o&g company in jhor.. So i rejected the offer.

Oilfield services company... the salary package is not as attractive as the atcual Oil and Gas company(exxon, shell, bp etc...)

Hi guys i am an intern at SLB kl financial hub...i am a IT student and i love programming..when i got the internship position i was told that i would be needing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Microsoft Access skills..so i thought i could join as i could be doing development or technical task regarding programming.

After i joined here i am doing videos n software simulations stuffs only, so i decided to look for other internship place as i am passionate about programming..i got another offer elsewhere which is a really good IT company.

And i went to the HR to discuss about this matter and i would like to leave. The told me i could leave however i would be blacklisted n the doors for career at Schlumberger will be shut for good. I am in a serious dilemma here as i am just a student n not experienced in work life and it seems blacklisting an intern is too much.

Could u guys give me some advice here?
