was just looking for a place to ask noob q's.. haha

so now, any version of psp can be used to play homebrew, with a firmware upgrade? or r there versions which cannot be upgraded?

also hows the battery life of the psp when playing games @ watching movies
*
Sony's official firmware upgrade = no homebrew.
Dark_Alex's custom firmware upgrade = welcome homebrew.

you'll know it's a custom fw when there are alphabets behind the fw version.
e.g. "3.10 OE-A"

Standard battery (1800mAh) lasts 4-5 hours.
Depending on whether u're watching from UMD or memorystick cos reading UMD consumes more power.

Just get any region as you can change to whatever region you want with 3.03OE-C custom firmware. You also can disable the region lock for UMD movies with this magical custom firmware.

oh i think u can put how to identify ta-082 mobo.. just put some link that have this tutorial. and yes as king say more on the homebrew compatibility.

One more thing a list of people that can do the downgrading and upgrading firmware would be good so beginers can contact them for their service.

Erm, more on firmware. Any suggestions on what I should add to those I've mentioned?

Homebrew compatibility issues? Do you mean which firmware can run which homebrews?

Maybe you need to tell them the difference between Sony's FW & custom fw.
Let them know the reason why sony wants us to upgrade.

Homebrew Questions

- So, which is better: V1.50, V3.10 or V3.10 OE? (edit)

Troubleshooting Questions
- PSP Media Player Problems (sub-section)

I've answered the two questions by editing one question. Check out So, which is better: V1.50, V3.10 or V3.10 OE? under Homebrew Questions.
