Guys - the above tricks are not what that will attract authorities. From what I experienced recently,... the CRS is the main weapon today.

Hence, report our taxation properly in this country,... do not let them start from the CRS.

Just contributing here for one time,.... this is a good thread,...

Mind if you share your experience? Do you declare your forex income?

The suggestions I suggested are to avoid BNM and not LHDN. However, as you said, the authority are not concerned of forex trading, they are more concerned that you declare your assets and pay taxes.

Ohh,... apologies then,... I did not capture this,... I have not much concerns with BNM today because I don't do forex trading,... and I don't really move funds out (or in) anymore,...

When I first started investing overseas, yes,... I had to move lots of funds out,....

I was talking abt LHDN moves today,... wonder if you guys are keen,... perhaps off-topic to you guys here,...

To start-off, all SG brokerages, AND CDP are asking their clients - SG and non-SG alike to fill-in the CRS Form. Inside the CRS Form, the fields that need to be declared are tax-residency country and the tax number of that country.

If can't provide - must state a valid reason for this. I don't know how strictly will they enforce their clients to fill-in and submit this.

Tax authorities can exchange tax information of individuals freely. But I recalled Malaysia did not sign-up here, or has not signed-up yet. Hence, I am wondering why the push for Msian investors in SG to fill-in this form.

Hence, we have to do our tax declarations neatly, and if there are any queries later from our authorities, valid answers can be given.

LHDN has been hard all these years, bro,... but if we declare carefully and properly, then we have done correctly and there is nothing to fear. Malaysia is still a great country tax-wise, because they DO NOT tax on our worldwide income. Even if they do,... it will not be easy for them to enforce this.

This thread is being monitored by interested parties,... this is sharing has revealed a lot already,.. but, if we have nothing to hide, then it's okay.

Let me asy a bit more : even if they know we have a lot of money overseas, they can't touch this amount within the rules of taxation. THey can't tax us basec on what we earn, becaus there is no law on worldwide income. The ONLY thing they can do is to ask us : HOW COME YOU HAVE SO MUCH MONEY TO SEND OVERSEAS ?

...followed by checking our declarations in the country. Hence, we must declare carefully and properly. When this is done - then there is nothing to fear already.

The only way they can touch our funds outside is by doing the Indon way : the Tax Amnesty method,... but even this way has not been fully-successful. Many rich Indons still left their money outside of the country. Then Jokowi's gov't can 'kacau' them inside Indonesia,... but not much,...

Spread-out our $$$ across the world,... smaller packages here and there,... it will be too tedious for them to find.... authorities will go after the easier fishes first,...

It's very hard for a person to share his hard earned trading method.
You can ask the fundamental questions here. We here are more than willing to help.

It's normal. It took me almost half of a decade to be consistently profitable.

Just use credit card to upload money. Other methods are troublesome.

If you want to use tt.... why not direct tt to the broker? No need skrill.
