Help How to transfer files from MacBook Air to, Ext hard drive

Can anyone help? It's my dad's. He's never done it before, and I have no idea how to do it bcs I don't use Apple products. Tried the copy paste, won't work bcs can't paste. Tried to drag, won't work either

Install the ParagonNTFS app on the Macbook first. Restart the OS. Now you should be able to write to ext HDD / USB

I bought and use external hdd (seagate) and able to transfer without any hiccups from macair. No need to format or anything. |

just use fat32 or exfat format will do...
