Oh! Hard to read coz the page is not in English.

You're right, if I'm deciphering it correctly it's some kind of carb based on some plant from Japan.

Well it still depends on whether you'd be full. And they need to add on other normal (wight friendly) dishes, right?

Check out the fibre and water content of one serving of the main product (excluding the other dishes), as those are the key indicators of satiety.

By the way, Ronaldo endorses Herbalife too. So endorsements aren't really a good indicator of anything smile.gif

However, <50kcal for a fried rice texture dish as per Jordan's FB post, is pretty darn good for that serving size, assuming it does taste decent.

From google image, it looks like kuey teow. I don't mind trying if there is any free sample but I bet it won't taste as good as actual rice.

I think I've seen this in Suki-Ya, if they are the same thing, the taste is not nice to me

this is like where most food companies are going.

eg. like before some certain milk / yogurt was so big and had more calories.
now ppl all too mindful, so the manufacturers shrunk the packaging and then say ' less than 100 calories!'

its the same with that rice, see how small the portion sure la 50cals.
also almost all rice is gluten free.

all just marketing purposes only...like calling water 'miracle drink! mix with anything! 0 calories! gluten free!'

I m not familiar with the different types of 'gears' but '600mg' I think he was talking about anti-acne stuff and not roid.

You eat more if you dont feel satiated.
For me personally, satiation from eating food depends from person to person.

Even if you say fibre makes you feel fuller, I dont completely agree with that.
For me, a slice of cheese and really helps me feeling full.

Instead of following the fad, try searching for the food that could make you feel more satiated for a longer period of time.

Besides, I dont think the food Konjac thingy is feasible for most ppl cos it must be expensive. sweat.gif

Is it a good/feasible alternative to rice?

If it tastes alright, and is at least about 60% mimicking rice texture,

And cost is not more than 30% more exp than rice,

Makes sense, for those trying to limit calories.

Looks rather dodgy tbh, "low carb and low cal" , the food they post doesn't seem to be low in those hmm.gif
