Yeah, same here. Have always had advanced payment waived but if they insist for advanced payment that offsets the monthly bill then I'm not really gonna make a big fuss about it. Not really an issue for me personally.

I feel your pain bro, and would do the same if not for the reason that other telcos have poor coverage at my home. Have tried DiGi, Celcom and U over the years and unfortunately only maxis works for me so I really have no choice. But for those who have other options and can opt for cheaper plans, then definitely do go for it.

I didn't preorder last year coz my contract was still running during the launch. I just tracked the stock level via their realview website the night before and just showed up at the branch the next morning to secure my unit. It went quite smoothly for me back then.
