So, as you know, I was told I couldn't preorder by maxis CS because my existing iPhone 11 Pro Max contract runs till 5th October and apparently the Apple Watch I took under Zerolution is tied to my number and still under contract. So I went to bed, got up this morning, logged in to maxis for fun and tried to preorder as you suggested last night. I didn't think it was gonna go through so I just tried my luck, took the 128GB 13 Pro Max, added to cart and tried to check out, fully expecting to be prompted that I wasn't eligible. But then it went to the payment page, I keyed in my credit card number and got the order submitted, hahaha... Not sure if they'll cancel it eventually. Let's wait and see..

Yeah, it says October 8th so we’ll see. The thing is I went to two different maxis branches and both told me the same thing, I won’t be eligible to pre-order. So yeah, it’s really strange but I’m not complaining

I got my phone last time before they even updated anything. 

Just go a phone call from Brightstar stated delivery will starts from 12th October. 

Hmm, two very conflicting information here, hahaha… I have not received any calls or mails yet but if it’s from the 12th onwards I would be pissed coz then might as well walked in on the 8th 

lol whatever I see or hear before the launch will be taken a pinch of salt, as anything could happen so better just wait for 8th and we will know, anyway its just 3 days from now

and yes, imagine if those who bought within 30 mins of pre-order opening and only receive their device few days from launch, meaning next year onwards bye bye to their pre-order coz nobody will ever camp midnight PO anymore, might as well just walk in on launch day and grab, so in a way, retailers are not dumb as well to kill their own PO which is the best secured sales for them...

Yeah, but maxis did put up a disclaimer to cover their a$$e$ - available from 8th onwards based on stock availability

Interesting theory, friend is in bangi area. What about the others here who got called for a 12th October delivery?

Thanks for sharing. When the CS said timeframe & pandemic, I thought its an uncertain delivery date. Still a mystery I guess, until Friday comes.

but i did call brightstar and they confirmed that they will use their dispatch (and not pass it to a courier) to deliver themselves on Friday the 8th, yay!!!

Mine remains the same, no change in the Status or in the delivery tracker...

I am living at Klang Valley and I opt for delivery.... so far no  update yet in my order tracking, still under Confirmed....

I check out around 1215am during 1st Oct 2021 pre order.... lol...........
