lol. that online check is a joke. when it show update time in XX:00 my 7+ black/jet black wont got stock in klcc. if update time is XX:13/14 it will show in stock title klcc.
tested whole day, sometimes the update time will reverse back.

I got lucky when i was refreshing every 1 hour checking maxis online store. Also managed to get waiver for advance payment.

already give up that jet black. just now check maxis store got limited stock in black 128gb. btw that maxis staff told me if plan now 158 cant change to lower plan 128. need remain 158 or more than 158 plan. but just now i submit online with 128 plan all go smooth. mean they just bs around.
now i wondering how long it will reach.

As we said previously... Less than 3 months they should be able to waive it... If you payment is good and long time customer...

it will waive but that maxis staff now allow me downgrade to 128. but when i buy online the system allow me downgrade.

Nope its true and accurate bro. I got mine using the store check function. U just have to be there at the right time. Updated hourly.

Same case happen on me . When i ask from downgrade at center 158 -> 128 maxis one plan . They ignore me with simply put out policy issue. Bla3 .

I change to 128 when i pre order. The case go smooth and hassle free at all. ( my 158 contract end this november 16 ) . 1month left .

So .... will they back charge me ? 🤔

If you're still under contract and you are asking their good will to waive the remaining duration of your contract then yes, I believe you need to stick with your existing plan when you upgrade your device. But if your contract has ended then it's up to you.
