Normal contract means you pay the device price corresponding to the package you choose. Telco tie you for the duration of contract. Device price one shot you settle from the start.

i think u have to upgrade to 128 and above plan first before you will be eligible? I got the same message too (i'm on 98 plan)

The device advance is part of the cost of the phone or deductible for the plan bills later on?

from my past experience, it'll be deducted from the plan bills later on.

I see so the final price of the device let say Iphone xs 256 GB would be RM4658? And why where is no sst charges upon check out even?

No SST on devices. SST on your bill only.

I don't think the zerolution360 is working. Keeps on popping up not eligible.

Ya lor...telco tie you for 2 years maaa.... from there they make more money. At apple store, the price got no ties to anything and its at retail price.

So telco entice customer to buy the phone out right of course cheaper than retail but they tie you woth contract...you want to terminate early still got to pay full wooh..

Did you buy through laptop/desktop or iPad ? Practically no queue on iPad. Crazy waiting time on desktop. No idea why though.

Yes. Everything done in about 10 minutes. No queue on iPad.

Now iphone support esim hopefully all telcos will support esim gradually.
Pixel already support esim since last year, but only for google fi.
Other telcos do not seem to support esim

We need to make option to port telcos or to change fron maxis to hotlink..i dunno why they have this option..iam existing maxis user lah..ðŸĪŠ
