QUOTE(gahkin @ Oct 9 2017, 11:49 PM) did we really need get maxispay to sign up? can't deal with paypal ? currently i on 6s , should i go for 8 or 8+ ? I bought my ip7 online through maxis although I am a maxis subscriber. It was an experience and it was easy IMO. As for payment, its either CC/Debit AFAIK, no PayPal unfortunately. They use despatch rider when delivering the phone and have to be signed by me. I guess, being a subscriber makes it much easier.

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 11 2017, 09:14 AM) You didn't opt for the midnight delivery by their staff? Heh heh... They took some time to deliver actually, around 5 days. When I checked the docket it came from Brightstar. Dont know whether they are affiliated with Maxis Corp. Anyway it took the hassle of going to KLCC, parking and queing and etc etc.

QUOTE(vez @ Oct 15 2017, 02:27 PM) if still left one year contract with MOP, is that means have to wait until contract end only can sign up again phone with MOP 2 years contract? IIRC, min 1 year. If got balance, there is a formula in which to calculate the final settlement. After that can start again.

Emm, giving more data but same subscription. IMHO more beneficial for the customer to maintain the data quota but reduce the subcription fees. For maxis nothing to loose, since infra stucture still the same.

Wah, zerolution now having up front $$$$? AFAIK, no up front payments when I opt for the ip7 last year.
Most probably many who took up the zerolution before, defaulted.

QUOTE(air_mood @ Apr 11 2018, 05:53 PM) Maxis CS on chat told me that I wont need to pay upfront for IPX since I subscribed to the Zerolution upgrade plan. Anyone can confirm this? Waah, good for you. Just take on their offer.

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 19 2018, 10:34 AM) Interesting question... this we’ll only know later today. But if it requires upfront payment then might as well go with a normal contract Thats what I thought too. I was looking at the offerings earlier, and under my account here, there was an option to get the X for RM179/month (24months zerolution) or handset at RM3825. It would be nice if no upfront payment of sorts just like my current ip7.

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 19 2018, 11:00 AM) Back during the 7, did you also pay for the yearly device upgrade program? No. I did not. I didn't opt even for the all risk insurance. (glass replacement water spillage etc). As I remember, the additional monthly commitments were substantial.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 19 2018, 12:05 PM) Zerolution : my understanding every month you need to pay for the phone plus the contract line cost too. It is very pricy each month Only advantage you need not pay any upfront Big disadvantage - you don't get to own the phone and need to surrender back after 24 months So don't understand where s the advantage to subscribe to it Worse you are expected to re sign back the plan for another phone ?? Bro, with zerolution you own the phone. But anything happens within the 24months contract, telco have right to block the phone using the imei. No upfront or CC but 24months telco tie you with device monthly and plan.

QUOTE(sinbad2k @ Oct 19 2018, 05:07 PM) for normal contract, are we paying just the device price or 188/158/128 per month on top of that? Normal contract means you pay the device price corresponding to the package you choose. Telco tie you for the duration of contract. Device price one shot you settle from the start.

QUOTE(sinbad2k @ Oct 19 2018, 06:00 PM) If that's the case, then it's better than buying from Apple online store then? You sure? Ya lor...telco tie you for 2 years maaa.... from there they make more money. At apple store, the price got no ties to anything and its at retail price. So telco entice customer to buy the phone out right of course cheaper than retail but they tie you woth contract...you want to terminate early still got to pay full wooh..

QUOTE(Lina94 @ Oct 26 2018, 12:25 PM) Hi, I wonder why people here prefer maxis plan for this new iphone xs and xr? Compare to Celcom, their plan much cheaper than Maxis. Sorry i am just curious. Its a matter of preference IMO.

QUOTE(Liquid Snake @ Nov 9 2018, 09:56 PM) For me i dont like big phones. I use 6s before. So the size of the XR is quite big for me. I prefer Xs size but too expensive la. But for iphone 7 plus or 8 users should be no problem. Performance of coz good. The LCD screen is also consider nice even though many people bash it for not being full hd. Doesnt seem to bother me. Looks fine and detailed to me. Just dont compare it with Xs or max la. Oled definitely far much better. For normal user like me and upgrading frm 6s i think its a good buy Thanks for the input. Im on ip7 now. Probably just maintain it or the next year or so. New phone prices not helping at all...

QUOTE(potenza10 @ Nov 15 2018, 08:35 PM) Hi, I'm thinking to jump ship to maxis from digi. Just curious do I qualify for zerolution plan.? How much is upfront for iPhone X? IMHO, you be better off buying the phone elsewhere using CC with 0% int. At least no contrct etc, no hassle. I also just about to finish my zerolution plan which I took on almost 2 years back. That time no need up front payment or whatever for handset, just commitment and then start the fixed monthly payments.

QUOTE(Hellmuth @ Nov 16 2018, 09:09 AM) for those who purchase iphone from maxis, still require to sign up warranty on apple website? X perlu IIRC. Back to back wth apple. If got warranty issue either can go direct or through maxis. Obviously through maxis will take more time due to logistics.

QUOTE(frostier @ Jan 20 2019, 11:05 PM) Did anyone receive this exclusive offer? Tempting for the extra RM5 I also saw on mine too. It was on offer for the whole day. This morning no more. Save on RM5/month (if compared to zerolution) but need to be on the RM158 package.
