Walao first time ASB dividend below 7% excluding bonus.. If follow this trend, others ASx is to be below 6% So based on my noobie calculation & the previous "spread" between ASB & non ASB fund.. The range we can expect is 5.6% to 5.9% next year.. If got "magic" because of GE, maybe can get 6% top.. Not more than that.. |

QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ Dec 22 2016, 03:09 PM) So i have a close friend of mine that has been able to top up his AS1M account frequently over the past 4 months with big sums of money(could easily get RM10K with try). Is luck just being on his side or have many investors cashed out from investing in ASX ? As1m huh?Is there something that everyone knows about ASX apart from me ? It's more like people cashing out.. As we all know the fund is the weakest link among all 3 ASx.. If dividend would were get hit, this fund is first to die... Last choice to top up, first choice to cashout / withdraw |

QUOTE(filage @ Dec 22 2016, 09:07 PM) hmm sunny days seem over.. times of 5 or 4 % awaits for ASX.. Yes. First time ASB dividends went below 7%..so this is the 1st time ASB fall below 7% since inception? Even the previous low is 7% + 1.25% in 2008.. Normally I see the "unofficial" benchmark is ASB - 7% while others 6%.. That the low point.. Since ASB broke the 7% barrier, I expect others ASx too to break the 6% barrier.. Won't be 4%, but 5% |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Dec 23 2016, 12:11 PM) Yes, bro,.... Depositors in Msia will not react so quickly. We still have a lot of time to search around and take out other less profitable investments first. Probably, this is another great advantage of these PNB Funds. We are protected right up to the point of unwinding ! Well we Malaysian loved to take things slowly.. Hard to accept new changes / stuffs..Just look at it in another way : imagine if PNB says you can't withdraw, or says from a certain date, this fund or that fund will turn into a variable-priced fund. Everything is at the jurisdiction of the fund mgrs. Then it will be worse, right ?? Having said the above,... we have to watch the news closely,... As for the changing to variable pricing, for now nope.. But I suspected its after 2018 as I saw something like SC requirement to disclosed true NAV after 2018 in master prospectus.. |

Asnb is doing some damage control now..
They say those invest in ASB won't be at loss because the pricing of the units is fixed at rm1.. The investment are safe & low risk.. No others investment can give such competitive return... Lol even asnb is worried now |

QUOTE(MGM @ Dec 23 2016, 01:04 PM) Trying to calm the unit holders by saying its good return..Price are fixed at RM 1. So u won't lose your money etc. Bla bla.. U know a lot people are not happy with the dividend.. Some even say it's not worth to invest in ASB Some are saying it might not cover the ASB loan |

QUOTE(jorgsacul @ Dec 23 2016, 02:35 PM) Hmm I don't know why..Wrong timing or what.. But since he appointed in pnb, the dividend rate for ASx fund drop to worse from last year.. Even ASB is not spared.. As we all know what the purpose of the fund for.. And that's also drop drastically... Yeah, I know the market is bad. Economy is not good, weak ringgit but, he seems like bring "bad luck" |

QUOTE(dreign @ Dec 23 2016, 06:10 PM) LOL the teller trolling you arr.. No way asw, asm or as1m will outperforms ASB Will there any chance anyone of ASW, AS1M or ASM out perform ASB? Will there be a just once? Time are bad. I think Malaysia still not bankrupt yet due to huge local Trust fund(ASX) and EPF holding up. There's reason why ASB always higher than others.. U know I know EPF what I know is "helped" by foreign investment.. Weak ringgit is actually somehow "good" for EPF |

QUOTE(cklimm @ Dec 24 2016, 10:16 AM) Yup. Its still above FD rate as most unkers aunties will say QUOTE(Jack&Guild @ Dec 24 2016, 12:40 PM) wondering why must asb fund always come with bonus dividend. why not they just announce the dividend instead? by the way I think as long the interest is higher than 5.2%, they won loss in their investment. Well ASB is "special" fund to help certain communities.. There's will be bonus no matter what Anything above 5% is consider good for most common people.. |
