Have you ever done any form of throttle/turbo cleaning with e.g. Threebond? Do you have an Oil Catch Tank (non re-circulating set-up) installed? If it's no to both, then get both of them done. First one will get rid of the gunk in the turbo unit, intercooler and throttle body if you spray Threebond through the Turbo. Second option will (or should) stop oil from collecting in the turbo and subsequently the intercooler and throttle body. Especially good if you like to go heavy on the throttle.

Bro, can you please recommend a good and reliable workshop for me to get this done? Thanks in advace

Not sure about RaceChip, but MBO by EA Autowork does wonders. smile.gif It's going to be more expensive after July 15th, so get it done soon.

I'm on PS4 215/45R17, so I can't help much. What's the reason for going for wider tyres? If it's comfort, then look for a higher profile tyre only, e.g. 215/50R17.

MBO?

throttle body cleaning can do at SC. that day i done at COSE, labor charge RM60
*
I asked Aiman @ Proton SC (Jln 222) and they said they can't do it, need to go to a bigger SC apparently. Sorry bro but what does COSE stand for? EA Autoworks quoted RM400+- to service/clean throttle body, turbo unit, intercooler & install oil catch can.

EA Auto for the oil catch tank.  Not the cheapest around but their after sales and workmanship is better than every other shop I've went to so far.

For throttle body cleaning,  no idea. Try to ask someone called thundercid god in this forum.  He is the one who sells this
*
Thanks for you reply bro, went to EA today and Drex (the owner) quoted RM400 for throttle body, turbo unit & intercooler servicing/cleaning plus installation of oil catch can.

Need to change engine mounting? Is this common? Changing both I understand since one side is worn, they do the other side as well
*
I would recommend you changing all the engine & gearbox mountings (total 4 pcs) and also the steering rack bushings coz if 1 is damaged, chances are all are....Just changed all on mine and the car is as smooth as silk on the roads.

you get notified when i quote you in the reply.

the rm400 actually is very reasonable price for the maintenance of the said items and plus installation of a oil catch tank.

noted on the question replies bro, thanks. As for the RM400 thing, yea I thought so too, planning to send it in soon.

Seems reasonable For EA Auto... the OCT itself costs quite a lot from them, so cleaning is not much more
Mild Boost Optimisation. Just a name by EA Autoworks for their CFE remap

ok noted, thanks bro

Guys, anyone bought stuff from Mounting King Auto before? If so, any feedback aside from the fact that it's cheaper than OEM parts? Quality & reliability? Thanks.
