IS THE OPERATOR GIRL INFORM ME ABOUT THIS AS I CALLED YESTERDAY TO ASK WHETHER I CAN BRING MY YES NOTE 7 TO THEIR SERVICE CENTER BECOZ I HV PURCHASED THE 2ND YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY AT THEIR SERVICE CENTER AS WELL.....SO WOULD LIKE TO CLAIM THE REFUND ONE GO IN THEIR SERVICE CENTER.

SHE JUST INFORM THAT HER MANAGER TOLD HER THAT IT CAN BE DONE BUT THE REFUND PRICE IS SET AT RM2,800. SO SHE ADVICE ME TO WAIT FOR YES INSTEAD.

so u don mind losing the rm80? actually not very big amount la but still consider weird feeling becoz other note 7 user can get back full refund but we need to suffer such loss. Not to mention the spigen case i bought for note 7 as well.....haiz.....

haha....correct....yes really troublesome. but their 30gb free data is a good deal also la.....can get about 20mbps speed at my area near kepayan.

as for the pre order, we do enjoy a lot of freebies.....i go to samsung store check the freebies price....they do actually selling the powerbank at price tag rm369, charger at rm139 and the wireless charger at rm249. if we do not pre order all this item i won't actually buy also la due to its excessive price.

now somehow due to the note 7 recall we can get 2 set accessories in note 7 box plus all these freebies.

any case explode during power off circumstance?

now i keep my note 7 power off when i was not around at home.....only power on it when i was at home.

i think is fair for showing recognize to die hard fans and reward them?

somehow i think is not free because u need to return the existing s7 edge. can see like the s7 edge is a temp loan phone to u before u can get the S8 (for the note 7 price u paid)

but if rm2,880 - 300 = rm2,580 for getting the s7 edge and able to switch free for next s8. it quite damn attractive offer .

i am the one bought s7 edge and pre order note 7. prepare to sell s7 edge after settling down with note 7 but unfortunately note 7 goes thru 2 time recall and discontinued. i was still using my s7 edge and exchange the note 7 to another unit of s7 edge definitely not attractive offer to me but if it was assured that the s7 edge exchanged can be upgraded to s8 next year without additional cost. i will think that is a good offer.

otherwise, just get back your full refund rm2,880 and buy s8 at pre order price which i think maybe slightly lower as well since s7 edge RRP is rm100 cheaper than note 7 and u may get tons of freebies again.

i think the management finally realise how important to strive customer stay in samsung instead. maybe their over estimate their customer loyalty to their brand and thought everyone will exchange for s7 edge.

i guess is the number or request refund too huge and they jump ship to other brand that cause samsung to rethink such strategy to keep customer.

i only bought s2,s3,s7 edge and note3, note5, note 7.
not very die hard fans and i always try other brand. but Samsung have one killer tech is their amoled screen. no other brand screen can come close even those using samsung amoled screen on their phone it was not the same amoled screen used on samsung flagship.

for s series, s2 and s3 resale value does really dissapointed me as i bought both at their RRP 2199. since then i hv avoided the s series more stick to the note series until my note 5 drop into water and spoiled it motherboard. thus i have no better choice for water resistant phone at that time so i go for s7 edge.

before the launch of note7 i really found s7 edge is the perfect phone. but when u have comparison, note 7 really get better in those minor respect.

once upon a time i was sony fans.....but get dissapointed with their Xperia ION. when xperia Z first launch i was liek "WOW" wat a design....but nowadays z1,z2,z3,z3+,z5 until the recently XZ. i seen not much diff and some model even like become more fatty and not sexy anymore....don know is my problem or wat...somehow i not interesting to buy sony flagship anymore.

RRP for N7 is 3199 -10% = 2879.1
previous N7 user can exchange S7E for HALF PRICE -> 2879.1/2 = RM1,439.55 + 1439.55 CASH REFUND
if S8 upgrade program, you returned s7e and get new s8, thus ur s8 cost is RM1,439.55


but that is for korea case only la.....in here only can day dreaming.

not yet hv time to go imago. karamunsing service center i oledi go last weekend to get refund for RM99 2nd year extended warranty. but they told me if process return note 7 there only can get back rm2,800. lost RM80 which i think maybe i just send to YES la....hahaa.

ya....ever claim ap set warranty.....basically waiting time is around one month plus...u need have sparephone. no loan device like samsung provided...but even ORIGINAL malaysia set for Xiaomi (xiaomi note i claimed warranty) waiting time is 2 month plus and hv to charge labour charger rm28 because the technician said top level not approve the warranty claim and he cannot proceed to fixed my power button without labour charges.

In term of warranty claim i only trust samsung....but after warranty finish samsung repair cost are damn high oso
