May be time to give SME a lesson ...

I am waiting Maxis announcement then decide ...

Just now have wrote to them with a suggestion:

1. Continue with existing contract (so less 2 months)

2. Full refund

3. And then purchase an Iphone 7+ 128/256 from them at Contract Price with cash top up if not enough.

You are great ... Samsung should refund X2 to you.

Anyway I am still dreaming Samsung will allow us to keep and using Note 7

The whole thing was a sabotage by fruit company to make most of the customers move to thier new dull fruit.

Just feel funny why mostly cases are happening in US?

Also you may remember Samsung have been (can) forced OTA to update our firmware without our permission. So just wonder is that possible for someone to remote control those Note 7? i.e. stop the auto cut off during charging, running some apps at background etc

To All Samsung Note 7 Owner:

My personal suggestion is we all don't return our Note 7 to Samsung 1st and see they will give better offer or not.

Other countries i.e. Taiwan also not happy with Samsung solutions and numbers will using Note 7 till end of the day i.e. Taiwan is 15th November.

***** Samsung to compensate consumers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 7 in Thailand

Samsung has announced that it will compensate anyone in Thailand who preordered the Galaxy Note 7 or paid a deposit for the smartphone. The company announced yesterday that it would offer a “goodwill gift” and discounts on other high-end Samsung devices.

Samsung will offer customers who preordered the Galaxy Note 7 a discount voucher of 10,000 baht (around $287). This discount voucher can be used while purchasing either the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, or theGalaxy Note 5. The company will also offer a pair of Level Active headphones worth 2,990 baht (or $86) to those who preordered the phablet.

Customers who preordered the Galaxy Note 7 in Thailand but no longer want to buy the device would receive a cash voucher worth 2,000 baht ($57). The compensation program will be valid from October 21 to November 31 in the country. Samsung has recently announced that it will no longer produce or sell the Galaxy Note 7 anywhere in the world.

I have a question:

If I am purchased my Note 7 from Maxis under their Zerolution and 24 months contract.

Say if I now sold it to someone then can my buyer refund from Samsung? If can't then what can he do?

The difference is Thai pre orderer never had a chance to use an N7. Unlike us which gone through 2recalls, they paid the deposit and no phone was coming at all.
*
Is that Malaysian pre-order owners consider lucky ....paid once and can have 3 times using New Phone? haha

Dear Note 7 owners please don't rush for return your devices, now almost all are fighting with Samsung. You may go and support the following group "Samsung Note 7用戶自救會“ too:

Well, apparently now you can't bring it on the plane at all. Of course there will still be some heroes. I'd hate to be on the same flight as them.

Previously can, but latest decision by USA flight is cannot, you not allowed to bring in the phone nor matter it is on or off.

http://www.phonearena.com/news/All-Samsung...flights_id86599

"U.S. authorities will ban all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, powered off or not, from airline flights."

I believe more airflight will follow and this is the right way. With more strong force just can force some owner that don't want to return, return at the end.

Samsung next step shall fully disable the phone functionality automatically, so those don't want to refund will have no choice but return for refund as well, unless they plan to keep a brick.

"For example make the phone total cannot turn on."
