Which begs the question.. If nobody wants the note 7 to fly, how is our stock gonna be dealt with? 8000 phones steamrolled over here in malaysia? Such a waste.. Tsk tsk.

Had a big dilemma regarding this issue also. Price isn't really a good deal to us for all the hassle.
But, all the same, the truth is that there isn't really any option out there. S7e is really the ONLY choice that is similar to note 7. S8 is almost 5 - 6 mths to come. Even then, S8 would've been a second choice too as we are all here for the S-pen and had chose the note7. The whole thing is really troublesome.

Agreed on your point about selling your old one for 2.2k and now needing to get it at higher price than 6mths ago. If it was me, yeah. Impossible to go thru with the replacement s7e price.
But I guess this is individual scenario lo, for some of us like me, I came to note7 straight away, from i5s. So, If I were to take the s7e, I guess it's still represent something as it really is the current STAND-IN flagship that they have right now.
As for jumping to fruit world? also depend on how big your wallet it, to get something of a same standard in fruit world, (i7+) would mean an additional rm1000 or more. Sorry to say that a lot of us can do more things with that extra RM1000.

SME with Screen protection is less hassle and more worth. But you kinda wonder la.. cuz on the day the s7 edge option was announce, the price in lazada you could get for RM2399 not including the discount voucher. Right after that, the price went up. Now its.. over 2.5k as well in lazada.

they(maxis) dont care wan la... was with them for 15+ years as well. When my contract finished, I asked why maxis had never offered my a single offer? even one club member also i had to apply myself.. they dun care pun.. so, i terus jump to digi and ported. no one from them give a damn. I even tweeted about it in twitter about nothing given for a loyal 15 year customer. And you know what? I got a reply shortly after that. Just not from maxis, from DIGI instead and saying "welcome to the family" LOL

Just xchanged it to s7e last nite.

Small. Real estate has been reduced.

Took silver. Got a free lousy SP given too(not the samsung official) .
But yes, limited colors left. I got a call from the outlet i bought a day before the official date to refund/exchange(16th). And they've also indicated to me that the pink and silver are quite limited. So, I told them i would want the silver but will only be coming in a few days later lo... Thats why I got it. The only colors the have in stock now is gold and black left.
At first I wanted to dilly dally until Dec too like many here, but then made up my mind after reading in here that many outlet dont have stocks for S7E anymore. Better to get something and settle the whole affair. Thought of refunding the whole thing. But there simply isnt any suitable option available at the moment for me. Iphone7, had to put in extra 500 - 1000 to buy, OP3? I had OP2 before, very very bare. Aslo, the resale value for Op2 was a nightmare.

As for the S7e, really have to get use to using it. Smaller screen size. The phone's footprint is definitely smaller and thinner. A Good fit if u have small hands/finger. The UI though, feels dated compared to Note7's Grace UI(Icons are bigger than Note 7's). Can't wait for Samsung to port that one in this s7e. Camera quality really should be the same.

My note7 was black onyx too. So.. wanted a change of "Feel". Silver's really not bad, now can everytime look at it and know its a new phone, cuz its soo dem SHINY!!!

and the ability to easily change from FHD to QHD. Cant seem to find that in S7e.
