true that. S series has always have lower resale value compared to Note series. Fruit has always had better resale value vs Sammy too. But then again, there HAVE been a recent flood of import units of i5s, i6, i6s into the local market which has been diluting the value of fruit phone too.

I'd get the 7 plus just to try out the AirPods when it comes out. And also 7 plus is a very different eco system than android. To each their own haha.

But I can say iPhones generally have a better gaming experience.

Both have pros and cons ler depends on either android perspective or iOS perspective.
But2, 5.5inch with huge bezel in bigger footprint than 5.7inch phone with huge price tag with only 1080p screen with somehow the camera low lights not above s7e (except zooming) but yeah nothing beats Apple logo.
Anyway typically people prefer iOS consistency and perhaps a better quality apps in iOS.

1 think not so great about s7e, the fingerprint's scanner not as fast as Note7 thus not as fast as iphones.

Not the camera though in my opinion.

actually i did shorlisted iphone7/7plus. but after checked review video, i feel nahhh at this moment.
i bought Xperia XZ. if iphone7 at similar price as XZ then kinda ok, but ip7 @note7 price, then feel not worth.
so going to use XZ until next galaxy (either S8 or perhaps note7 successor). but next year also apple will release brand new design for ip8, so ill pass the ip7.

for me, s7e will be right replacement for note7 but i came from s7e, and my dad still using s7e, so thus i opt to get another phone.

if you like consistency, perhaps ip7p may suit you at this moment. 

S series will lag but note series wouldn't? Lol

Let me help you make decision because you actually already made a decision. Since don't know which phone to choose and none is actually compatible to Note 7, the next best phone will be the upcoming "Note 8" or S8. Keep the money first if you have a spare phone.
