Same issue happened to me also.

I did have to reboot phone to solve the issue. And it had been happened again and again..

And also sometimes my phone will suddenly back to phone lock screen, had to unlock sim, then again come back to home screen

People who seek 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage and long-lasting battery (not the shelf live) 😜.  However, both Redmi 3S and Redmi Note 3 were listed in most problematic android smartphones in 2016 Q3  according to a research done by a certain institute (forgot what its name, but you can google about it). No wonder Xiaomi release Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 so quick  😒

talk about problem. my redmi note 3 got problem. let me describe:

While updating many apps using Play Store
Say there are 10 on the list
Click Update All
Then off screen (or the screen off after a minute)

Seems that Play Store won't install the app unless the screen is on. It completes downloading the 1st app but won't install unless the screen in on. So if I have 10 apps on the list that require updating, I need to keep the screen on for the job to finish. How to fix?

I assume its not a hardware issue because both units like this.

Done things like Off MIUI Optimzation, Off Memory Optization, Off power Saving, don't see any setting for play store on Autostart or Permissions.

Ahhh,then it's proven. I thought only Penang got such issue due to coverage issue.
Yet they claimed that they're the fastest network. Gosh.
Basically the bill that i paid every month doesn't justify the service that i received from the telco.
I've tried Yes 4G. Speed is really really good,the only downside with it is the coverage as it's running on pure 4G.
When you're at some area which doesn't have 4G then you can't use the data/call/sms.

Hey peeps, new user reporting in. I bought my set from a reseller with the thorus seal on the box, but the charging adapter that comes with it is only 2 pin. And I tried to buy a case,  a cheapo tpu/motomo case wont fit. Are thorus distributing kate sets?   

You can verify the phone model by got to Settings->About phone and look that the Device model.

Kate and Kenzo is exactly the same size. There are not reason why the case won't fit.
