doesnt matter on the statement cycle. uob tabulate all the transactions for the whole Jan.

perhaps you can share when did you perform RM80 TNB @ uobpayonline?

others (who gotten cb) can compare when they swiped similar to yours, then we would know (possibly) the cutoff when they excude TNB from their calculation.

I thought it doesn't matter what u spend, as long as ur spending is above 800, then the online spending will be eligible for 6% cashback.. y missfroggy only got RM20 for 700+ Online spending?

Maybe it is not consider as online retail.

Another reason maybe is because your TNB date considered as Feb payment.
After deduct the TNB, your total is less than 800.
So that is why you only entitled RM20 (max).

I think their system not so intelligent to capture cross month transaction... everything should captured in Jan as UOBPayonline transaction date = Posting Date too...
Do you have any transaction that have February 2017 as posting date? maybe this is the reason..
Anyway, CS info cannot be trusted, u may request them to file a case for investigation on why ur cashback is not RM44.68 (i.e. 6% of ur online transaction exclude TNB)

My 2c feeling is that TNB posting date is considered when calculating eligible spending amount. You know sometimes CS can be wrong, our forumers here can be a better CS than the bank's.

I think better snapshot your statement that shows all JAN and FEB transaction.

Could be your last two transactions which were posted on 7/2/17. So far all my trxs transacted n posted in the same month. All my TNB trxs same description as yours, TENAGA NASIONAL BERHAD PETALING JAYAMY

When is your statement date?

May be there is cut off date for CB calculation on trxs that posted in the next month, like b4 7th.
Those two trx posted on 7th actually took 7 days, was it similar for prev months?
I still think that it is not your TNB trx cos so far u r the only one having issue.

People still got TNB UOBPayOnline cash back. So yours is an isolated case. The thing is try avoiding last minute transaction, UOB has this problem with last minute transaction issue. Many have reported since VOX days. If you got it previously, doesn't mean it cannot happen now. Looks like no choice but to move on.

Tnc stated on qualifying spend, didn't mentioned bill payment is excluded, therefore u still can get 6% as long as ur total qualifying spend above 800, but I think the culprit is the 2 transaction that posted on 7 Feb. u can always write in to clarify y u didn't get RM50 for ur January spending based on transaction date for all ur online spending n let them to investigate. No need to call CS, as I said, CS is not as knowledgeable as customers based on our experiences
