U can actually send all your supporting documents to uobcustomerservice@uob.com.my directly instead of waiting them to call u.
I did the same, and i got reply the next day saying that they forwarded my email with all the documents to credit card department.

i believed they do follow the PDPA Rule.
However, for identity Card its better to put a remark like "For UOB only" into it to avoid misuse like what u said.

The CS is based on transaction date or posting date? As first page mentioned that it's transaction date.
And When can we see the CB in our account? last day of the month or statement?
