Every sg telco speed is fast.

But look like digi limiting the speed ?  I got 4g signal, but barely hitting 1mbps.
Umobile databackpack also under starhub, but they can give me better speed ( 3-5mpbs).

Will definitely port out if the speed continue like this.
*
I think it is quite obvious if digi partner with starhub....

Umobile is under same group with starhub ah...
Who knows they treat um different OR treat digi "differently"

So Starhub and SingTel have some common investors?  That's not good for competition in SG.

Anyway, let's see if U Mobile extends their Data Backpack roaming beyond 2016.

Interestingly Starhub does not appear to have a preferred partner for roaming in Malaysia.
*
Y need preferred partner if all telco coverage are so so in some countries?

U can choose any operator with same fix price per day without having fraud.

For.example, u accidentally connected digi celcom maxis umobile within a day while starhub still charge u sgd20 ?

Thinking digi n umobile maybe starhub preferred as starhub users allowed to roam both 4G network in malaysia

http://www.starhub.com/personal/mobile/mob...4g-roaming.html

While singtel n maxis should be partnership together

Don't know why are they differentiating by user as their FAQ certainly did not state so.  My plan now is Best Prepaid 2016. Ported in partially because of VoLTE.  No choice but to wait I guess swt...

Another way is keep call to cs to change staff till the one who activate for u haha smile.gif

Hi all,

I am wondering why am I being charge of roaming incoming calls eventhough I never answered any calls during that time because I already switch to airplane mode?
The 3 incoming calls highlighted yellow with duration of 4 , 5, and 3 secs on the image above did not even show up on my call log.
Only the one that I accepted the day before (the first one on the image) showed.
This is weird.

and another question, Digi Helpline still got people answering or not? I've tried many times but all the time busy.
*
Haha, i also kena before.did u disable voicemail when roaming?
Better check *118# to find it out.
And it is standard to have roaming voicemail service to be enabled default, so u can't blame anyone.
U can also read tnc at digi roaming page as digi mentioned inside about the roaming voicemail
smile.gif
Also, u can disable roaming voicemail while remain voicemail when u are at domestic/local smile.gif

Use 4G+ phones...
Else just port to maxis/celcom
Their 4G-only network seems got 20mhz instead of digi n umobile 10mhz only

Not for digi as digi has to allocate 10mhz for 2G...

UMOBILE might have 15mhz LTE1800mhz ...
And their 900mhz used for 3G...

Any specific reason why? Is it because of their 3G licence?
*
Sorry, i mean government allocate 20mhz of 1800mhz to digi
But due to digi has 2G, they have to allocate 10mhz of it for 2g

While UM got 15mhz of 1800mhz and no 2G, for sure they fully use at 4G lo lolx

UM 900mhz will use for 3G
While digi unknown... Rumor is half 4G half 3G....

UM not using 900MHz for 4G LTE?? They could had been the pioneer in Malaysia to run tri-band LTE like Singtel Band 3/7/8  blink.gif
*
From what i saw in their site survey, no hor
U2100
L1800
U900
L2600

What to do... Perhaps there is a theory 4G must b less wider or at least same wide as 3g

Singapore perhaps having 900mhz 3G and 4G to save those phones are not VOLTE supported for CSFB smile.gif

Low end maybe not but now even middle end phone like Redmi Note 3/4 comes with band 8 LTE support. Since U Mobile had 10MHz on band 8, they really should use 5MHz on 3G and another 5MHz on LTE in my opinion.
*
Errr. Band 8 = 900mhz?
I tot um only get 5mhz UL and 5mhz DL ?

Yeah you're right 2x5 MHz biggrin.gif . I keep remembering it's 2x10MHz for no reason.
*
There is reason for this as

Maxis and celcom = 10mhz x 2
Umobile and DiGi = 5mhz x 2

smile.gif

1800mhz
Maxis celcom digi 20mhz x 2
U mobile 15 mhz x 2
