Exactly. Samsung will likely refund RM2,879.10. But I bet most buyers are having wishful thinking to get RM3,199 from Samsung (the official RRP price) to compensate for their time wasted, etc.

i jus hope dun ask us return the freebies only..
those should be free cause this refund is not wat we hope to happen...

if they is not risk to our safety we would like to keep our N7..

SME has not mentioned a word on compensation. This will anger every owner. I dare speculate that every owner had spent a minimum of rm200 on accessories for Note 7, which is now rendered useless. Owners will also not forget the cheap sp given out during the first exchange. The screen warranty is of no value now (and no cost to SME). Samsung's reputation in Malaysia is further damaged by the useless SME team which is ultra slow in response and ultra stingy when handling this issue.

lookback what they have done on the previous recall ...!
they work it like shit.. everything unclear & try to hide if consumer didn't ask for it...

SME still the same reaction now, eveything jus like less plp know is the best....
you don ask , i don give.. you ask then i only give you...but shhh~ you don tell others..

=.=

In South Korea, Samsung offers incentives for Galaxy Note 7 customers to stay with Samsung

In its home country of South Korea, Samsung is offering a coupon worth the equivalent of $30 USD to those who return their Galaxy Note 7 back to the manufacturer. If the Galaxy Note 7 is exchanged for another high-end Samsung phone, the consumer is given another coupon valued at the equivalent of $61.25 USD.

what im thinking is..
if they offer a voucher or loan phone till the next flagship to the owner at least they can secure this 8k x rm3099 busines stay wif samsung after this crisis... if they din make this move i think probably most of the owner will jump ship.. i dont think if now jump ship then next year they will jump back to saumsung lo.. what i mean is not every1 will change phone every year rite?
