Hello fellow SS owners
just bought my TJ09 on monday from moderno, hoping to get TJ07 but no stock, so grab the TJ09 instead. so now i'm off to install my first WC loop (sponsored by MTZ...on the shipping fee being a first timer or so popularly-known-as n00b if yes, please raise your hand and let me know. i would like to PM/MSN/Yahoo! you for the advice. so far, i like the build and the quality of the casing. but on wire management friendliness it's a i wish i could get the old version of tj09 - the one without the side panel so i can mod it to my liking but what to do...begar cannot be choser! so, anyone with tj09 and have their WC loop installed with 2x120mm rad inside, pls help out. thanks This post has been edited by remysix: Aug 29 2007, 04:19 PM |

actually, i've already read those forum especially the hardforum...long listing of posts...wanna ask if there is any LYN member did the same thing...anyway, yesterday i went to the myDIY and get myself 4 pcs of L-bracket and to my surprise, it was like those L-bracket made for holding the rad to the TJ09...i meant the length, the place of the hole...in no time i was able to mount the 2x120mm rad inside, at the top. the slided my mobo tray in...eeeeek! another problem, the damn mobo heatsink at the far right (top) got blocked by the rad...seems like i need to cut the L-bracket a bit to let the mobo (heatsink) pass...the L-bracket is made of alloy i think...tried to drill the hole on it...cannot be done, too hard for the drill or maybe i'm not skill enuff. gonna try it again once got home.

QUOTE(bryanyeo87 @ Aug 30 2007, 10:35 PM) ur drill cant penetrate eh? probably it's due to the drill...mine is 'Skill' brand...the saleperson said that the one that i bought is 550W and the B&D is 450W, so being a total n00b in this kind of stuff, i took the 550W and it came with all the tools whereas for the B&D only the drill alone, no tools - promotion price, so nothing extra.use a better quality drill bit, dont use chapalang wan, solved my prob when i switched to the B&D ori drill bit anyway, i still have no idea what to do next since the only way for me to install the pump, i need the holes...every TJ09 with WC owner put their pump at the bottom side which is the only logical place to put it. BTW, Happy Merdeka Day to All!!!
