Hi all,
I was travelling in Cape Town and brought my Mavic Pro along. On the 3rd day, just as my drone took off, I got an error message saying "magnetic interference" and "strong winds" (even when there was barely any wind) and my drone just started drifting away uncontrollably. I couldn't chase it down as I was on the balcony of my AirBnB rental and it drifted towards the sea. Any chance I can claim anything from DJI, and if not, what is the cheapest way to purchase a replacement drone (since I still have batteries, the controller, etc)? I also understand sometimes DJI offers discounts for flyaway cases? Thanks in advance for your replies! |

Thanks in advance for your replies! is normal to get magnetic interference, since u at indoor. i believe you at ATTI MODE, ur GPS is not lock on to drone...which cause it drift away when u fly out from balcony... Dont think you can claim from DJI, is like human error to me...you may still try to claim |
