i was in South Thailand- i tried using TnG at 7-11, they say cant accept and tried scanning, it wont work.

i went to foodcourt and try using QR payment using Cimb- that too didnt work- its say qr unregconised-

If you are buying from 7-11 and using debit or credit card, mininum purchase is 200 baht ( this new ruling started few months ago )

Seems like no one talking about CIMB Travel Currency?
It let you exchange currency online and collect at airport
The rate seems quite decent ... most important... skip the queue at MV biggrin.gif

I just exchanged some for coming trip next week... staff call at the same day to inform the cash is ready
service not bad huh thumbup.gif

Back from Istanbul and I have cash TL1111 + 2x IstanbulKart (with bal) for sale. Enough for one (or group) to get to town & avoid cutthroat exchange rates at the airport.

The IstanbulKart is a must have for public transport. Current selling price is TL130 each. It's not available at IST airport (think on purpose).

All for RM192.

Which currency did you exchange? I've compared the rate for THB and the money changers have better rates.
