Quite interested on the p6n diamond with x-fi sound chip. Some online sources say that it will be even be cheaper as compare to asus striker. Nice board from msi. The platinum and sli would be good for those which still on pata drive as it comes with 2 ide connectors

But from what i can c from d picture d P6N Diamond juz equip with a 4-phase voltage regulator system... Is that more than enough for heavy overclock purpose?

Well I myself cant provide you an answer for it since there still no review for it yet. But from windwithme review on the p6n platinum, the board is capable of hitting 450fsb in which I think is enough for normal overclocking usage. Lets wait till more review available and see what this mobo capable of. But for the meantime, its quite interesting with all the thing it offers.

P6N Diamond is using n680i chipset
- 4 PCIE x16 (striker extreme only 2 PCIE x16)

*
As i know d Asus striker extreme n all nForce 680i reference board got 3 PCIe slot where 2 for x16 SLI n another 1 is for physic card... sweat.gif

can't find it in any shops pricelist, only found in bell & fuwell SLS list costing S$355 which is RM8xx. This price is killing compare to taiwan just NT4xxx (RM4xx).
well we'll see how much it cost when its hitting malaysia.
honestly i'll still buy it at RM8xx because of that 2 IDEs and free bundle heatpipe heatsink fan. MSI really put effert on this board coz they din have any other killer boards to fight with asus or abit or gigabytes anymore!
stay tune...

Hold ur horses dude! There no nid 2 rush 4 buy new hardware! I'm sure MSI Malaysia will bring in such good P6N series board 2 Malaysian market soon. It's juz d matter of time only. Not worth 2 pay a premium as u can get d same hardware at much more cheaper price after sum time. As u guys know d Asus P5N-E SLI nForce 650i SLI also cost RM700+- when initially launch in Malaysia. But now dat board oledi sale at RM500! No point pay more 4 such midrange board izit? sweat.gif

P5ne sli all the time is below rm500. The price I get around 1 to 2 weeks before cny also is around rm495. Never see such pricing as rm700 on it.

The p6n platinum should be price higher as compare to the asus p5ne sli as it offer more as compare to the asus board.

Dude, if u really keep track wif d latest low yat pricelists frequently u'll discover dat it's first launch price is RM700+-! I got proof here! D price list i show u is 3/2/2007.

Mr please check up the following thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/407853 as I already getting the price of the same mobo for below rm500 on either 5th or 6th of february. This particular mobo aint price at rm700 hundred level. I dont usually look on price list as I just call and get the price on the spot if I checking on a particular hardware since price list is just a reference only

Back to topic. The p6n platinum is already available in local market. The price is around rm700 to rm750 depends on how good you can bargain. As I know for moment all board is sapu by cycom quantity aint that much either. Oh I also cant find p6n platinum on price list and does that mean its not available?
*
Thx 4 ur useful info here. But i'm definately won't rush 2 get 1 for myself coz i'm know cycom will keep d stock so that they can sell higher price as u said d quantity not much. Only available for few units IMO.

Well I expecting the p6n diamond to sell around rm1k to rm1.1k, in which still a better buy as compare to striker. I rather use the cash to buy a 8800gts than getting striker biggrin.gif
*
I think maybe d P6N Diamond will be selling @ RM1.2k-1.3k. Yup, better save more money to get better graphics! No point getting xtreme high end mobo if u pair it with a 7900GS blush.gif
