DFI Infinity 965-S = Comes With 100% All Solid Capacitors
DFI Infinity 965 = Comes With Ol' Skool Electrolytic Capacitor [Cheaper than the Infinity 965-S]

When will this board be on the shelves in the shops at LYP?

Got some way to get it sooner than waiting it to arrive Malaysia

If you're going to wait for malaysian DFI sole distributor to bring it in, it may be in the mid of may.

I just called alphamatic, and that's what they told me.

I got my own "way" to get it earlier from somewhere else.

Hehehe...
I'll discuss with my partners in crimes first.

If they're agrees to get some more orders, then i'll include you too.
But offcourse there's some T&C

For now, i've already got 5 orders from various LYN forum members.
We won't take much though, as there's a limit to get that board here easy & fast.

Check the review link given up there, a user proves that this board beat the ASUS P5B Premium. with no fancy schmancy heatpipe.

How good is that?

And to compare more:

ASUS P5B Premium = RM850 - RM950

DFI Infinity 965 - S = RM650 - RM700

I bet even commando will lose to this board.

Which one will u choose then?

Alphamatic Distributions (M) Sdn Bhd just told me the real price for this board in Malaysia.

[This is not my price. It's the price that has been released by Alphamatic Distributions (Sole distributor for DFI in Malaysia)]
RM650 for non solid capacitors. [DFI Infinity P965]
RM750 for 100% full solid capacitors. [DFI Infinity P965-S]

Anyway, i'm not going to organize the bulk anymore though, as my supplier who can give better price & faster grab for this board has some of their problems with DFI.

So, expect to get this board in your hand in the early may. [From Alphamatic Distributions themselves]

And with alphamatic distribution being the sole distributor of DFI in malaysia who has always been knowned as the most delaying distributor, end of result: early may.

That's the retail prices that should be at the shops.

DFI Infinity 965 [Non Solid Caps] : RM650
DFI Infinity 965-S [All Solid Caps] : RM750

Yes, Abit AB9 Quad GT does looks like a bargain, but then, the infinty performs better than the Quad.

So i choose the Infinity eventhought the price are a lil bit higher than the Quad.

Plus, there's many things that u can mod on that infinity.

You can put customized HR-09 mosfet & PWM heatsinks from thermalright on the infinity motherboard where the Infinity already put some holes on the both sides on the mosfet & pwms for a greater cooling which will result to a better overclocking performance.

And you can also change the Northbridge heatsink.

This is why i love this motherboard so much.
