Is there any hack apps to change our phone model so we dont have to buy the certified phone
*
You could always change the build prop for your phone, and yes it requires root and a phone with band 5 LTE

Been using webe for the last 4 weeks, and the experience using it in alor star and changlun has been a mixed bag. Speedtest records up to 10mbps, opening facebook browsing the web is fast, but streaming YouTube even at 360p still results in buffering. Also LTE speed is garbage, super slow and unreliable so i lock the connection at 3G all the time

Speed test at around 5-6mbps, open facebook, instagram it loads bloody fast, but streaming youtube even at 480p its buffering like crazy, like im using a 1mbps screamyx line. Thats my only gripe with webe, youtube constantly buffers even when it shouldn't

Finally, review from Penangites. So, the line is kinda not bad. Now, waiting for anyone from Kedah mainly Sungai Petani area to confirm how it performs there.
Guess, the whole unlimited everything has its catch after all.
*
Probably, but i think the fault is more towards the unstable connection

So speed has been suffering tremendously since 2pm. Its almost 3a.m now and i usually got around 8-10mbps at my house, but now its barely 1mbps. You tube stream at 360p buffers. Ever since they open webe plan to public, im seeing drops in service. Fix your shit webe

it seems like the upgrade of celcom network at my place has been done, the 3G speed has been up from previous 7-8Mbps to now 9Mbps and upload speed 2.5Mbps to 5Mbps~
hopefully no more any interruption by now...
anyway the webe 4G is still very unstable at 1-2Mbps DL 3-5Mbps UL
*
I think thats why thr speed has been slow since yesterday. Now its faster than usual. Lets hope this stability stays

i think i will port permanently to Webe
so far no problems with data coverage and calls and sms
works just as advertised.
using more than my current Celcom First data allocation in just a week.
really worth it
*
I would advise against that, but seems that your celcom line is also postpaid it doesn't make sense to use both postpaid line active at the same time. Im still not porting my number to webe yet, would like to test it for a couple month more, since my primary number is prepaid so i so i dont mind testing it further

Cmon webe, how come when i load facebook or chrome it loads fast, but when playing youtube videos at 360p its buffering every 10 seconds? Shit even my 4mbps streamyx loads 720p youtube video without buffers. Speedtest shows 5-6mbps but can't even load 360p video smoothly? Am i the only one facing this issue here?

Sometime we need to turn on-off airplane mode...
*
Did that, almost 6-7 times already. I just don't get it though, speedtest seems fine but loading video buffers worst than a 1mbps streamyx. Its this kind of instability makes me thank myself for not porting my personal number for webe yet.

Bro, which part of Jitra you are staying. Care to show us the speedtest result?
*
Lived in Changlun, I commute to work to A.Star daily streaming music, podcast and youtube with little to no issues so far. My speedtest result are primarily in 3G because their LTE service seems unstable for now. In terms of coverage im quite surprised as well, although their network stability does need improvement.
PS : Already abuse 68GB of data alone for this month

Got foolproof method to change imei without bricking the phone?
*
change build number will cause no issue. A webe customer rep confirms that they track imei number to know what model phone you use, but if you change the imei number = death.

i thought it was common knowledge if your imei number has lost/changed, your phone is pretty much a brick. Unless of course your phone is rooted, then there is a way to change it

Day 3 on alor setar. Still sticking on 3G. Get around 8MBPS stable.
Only thing bother me is Google tac not working, have to replace with app.

I did got 4G once in a while in alor star, but stick with 3G instead because their 4G line is basically uselless. 8-14 Mbps usually the normal 3G speed im getting
