QUOTE(Velocity @ Oct 2 2016, 06:49 PM) At 4.7Mbps (my location) is OK for RM199 - RM60 I must say... But, mobile cannot do much compared to desktop/fixed line Internet access...Can't download "this-&-that", can't PS4/XboX, can't hack "this-&-that"... etc...This post has been edited by azhar75: Oct 2 2016, 06:55 PM |

I'd rather pay RM6.36 tethering access fee to do desktop/mac/PS4/Xbox staff in 2 hours...or not coz can bypass the tethering blocking mechanism..
Or jump ship to U-Mobile P98 plan (compared to RM199 - RM60) to tether all 30GB in a month... My UniFi monthly usage is above 1TB a month due to "this-&-that" activities...thanks to 30Mbps "EFFECTIVE" speed to worldwide servers...so, I totally abuse the UniFi account... Now abusing webe pulak when I'm on the road... This post has been edited by azhar75: Oct 2 2016, 07:27 PM |

QUOTE(ketoljinx @ Oct 3 2016, 07:30 PM) VPN abuse detected.... LOL... j/kSeems good for 11Mbps LTE 850MHz...you should be happy over there... Go ahead and tether as much as you want before webe take actions to block VPN. But other locations cannot beat ur previous Maxis coverage and stability... QUOTE(aneip @ Oct 4 2016, 11:45 AM) Hai loohhhh.... webe claim is only true if u r transmitting within their mothership... Almost 90Mbps! That's 3 times faster than my fixed 30Mbps UniFi.... So, go grab their SIM and test/tether/VPN kaw-kaw while waiting for other telcos to counter-offer webe "false" ads....This post has been edited by azhar75: Oct 4 2016, 11:56 AM |

Working QUOTE(dinozosfed @ Oct 4 2016, 01:16 PM) summore i tried (tac) on cimb and hlc results working 😊 for i message activation dunno , still unsuccesful .. will keep try.. Are both of you apply new webe number or port in from other telco? For my case, I port from U-Mobile and I did not receive any TAC from any vendors. |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Oct 4 2016, 02:21 PM) I'm not worrying becoz this webe line/number is not my daily usage. I use it for "unlimited" data purposes only.I will port out back to U-Mobile once they patch the tethering "hack"... I have a hypothesis that those who subscribe to webe new number will get TAC while those who port-in will not get TAC.... This post has been edited by azhar75: Oct 4 2016, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(manx @ Oct 4 2016, 02:58 PM) Ok. Thanks for the reply. I thougjt it is due to TAC issue. Some are not facing it while some are. Just wonder if +60111 numbers are ok for TAC or not.. This is what my hypothesis was... Only those apply for new webe number aka 011 from fresh will have no problem to receive TAC... Those port in from Celcom kaaa, DiGi kaaa, U-Mobile kaaa, Maxis kaaa, etc-etc will get TAC issue... |
