Is the thread long lasting?

I'd say at least 40-50k km, maybe even a bit more if never driven aggressively.

try to rotate the wheel with the rear one every 15-20K km.
i believe it can last longer.
of course, every rotation cost you money.

Adoi....how to compare with xm2. Of course Pilot Sport version much better than XM2. XM2 for normal drive ok la. You want a little more aggresive then Pilot Sport Version.

I did tried out the XM2 version on Vios.

Well XM 2 is low end model aimed at high durability (tread wear rating of 400), not good grip, plus your car is light and probably you drive normal all the time and never push the tires in the corners. PS4 tread wear is 320 so it will finish sooner.

Hahaha. Always go corner fast. But still ok for me. Perhaps what you say is true on the light weight body.

the best wheel rotation is every 10KM
then four tires will last longer and well maintain.
cost not much only alignment and balancing

Yes, best if do every 10k km. But alignment and balancing is not a must, can test first then only do if necessary. Balancing will only be required if you did on-wheel balancing or if you need to dismantle the tires from the rims for rotation (switching left/right for directional tires), otherwise no need.

Whoaa 5k is too frequent leh! biggrin.gif But very good lor, your tires will always be very even and maximum lifetime! smile.gif Me, I just do every 10 or 20k km depending on whether I use asymmetric or directional tires. If asymmetric and all same size then I rotate every 10k km coz it's easy. If directional or I'm on staggered sizes then I just do every 20k km coz need to dismantle the tires from the rims.

Any Mini owners using this tyre here? Getting old can’t take tyres that are too hard. What’s your view? Thanks
