That's normal price range.

Which model of Goodyear? How is the condition?
*
Not sure what is the modelof Goodyear tyre. I only know these are stock tyres that come with the A250 - goodyear 235/40R18. Condition still ok >70% remaining. It is only the front ones that is <30% according to service centre.

Btw what is the difference between 235/40R18 and 235/45R18. My current are the former.

Hmm if Goodyear F1 and still 70% condition then it's ok to leave it at the back to pair with PS4. If it's just mid range Goodyear model like Assurance, maybe better to put the PS4 at the back just for better safety insurance. Because if you put PS4 at the front paired with only a mid range model of any other tires, then you might benefit from much sharper turn-in response but the back might feel a bit more nervous/more oversteer tendency.

The difference between 235/40 and 235/45 is huge, which is about 1.2cm sidewall height or 2.4cm overall outer diameter, so for A250 I don't recommend to use 235/45/18. If you want slightly bigger and taller sidewall for a bit more comfort, the max you can go is 245/40/18 which is only about 4mm taller sidewall or overall only 8mm bigger diameter.

For 245 width tires minimal 8jj rims. I think stock A250 rims is already 8jj wide right? So no need to change rims but if somehow your A250 is using narrower rims then cannot use 245 tires.

It will curb your fender, stick to your car's original wheel diameter.

215 or 225/45/17 (Downsize)
225/40/18 (Ori)
235/35/19 (Upsize)

It will add about 1.1cm in sidewall height or 2.2cm overall diameter which is too big compared to your std size.

thanks... another question

does this comparison correct?

V12E2 > GYA2 > PS4

yes GYA2, not A3.

You mean V12E2 is superior than F1A2 and PS4?? No, not like that.
If irregardless of price then PS4 is the best, probably the ranking would be more like this: PS4>V12E2>F1A2 (V12E2 had been tested to be better than F1A3 by Car and Driver in the US)
If considering the price then V12E2 is the best value for money: V12E2>PS4>F1A2

ahh sorry my bad. I use the wrong symbol. it should be like this : V12E2 < F1A2 < PS4.

ok, now I get it. im thinking to get either these 3 tyres. maybe I will settle down with Hankook instead OR used PS4 with good threads life.

any idea where can get best deal for V12?

looking for size 225/40/18.

Good condition used PS4 maybe not as easy to find, got some below but I think the prices there not worth it coz not far from new V12E2.
