want to ask, for the MAYBANK FC BARCELONA VISA SIGNATURE, what does the 2% all 'purchase' cash back means? petrol, shopee and medical card got include?

2% Cash back for all purchases all year long (except May and August) and capped at maximum of RM50 per month.

10% Cash back for all purchases made in the month of May (football season ends) and August (football season begins) and capped at maximum of RM100 during the specified month.

the football season time fixed for every year?

I see, then normally the football season last for how long one? Whole month or 2 weeks? And the RM 100 cashback easy to reach? as need spend RM 1000 only

Then she got ask the customer service or counter for the Barcelona CC, and that particular person says that the football season not guarantee to be available every year or something and thus affect the CB I think, that is why I am confused

The Cash Back awarded is based on all retail transactions using Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Signature Card except the following:
 Transactions for Maybank EzyCash, Maybank EzyPay Plus, Maybank Ezypay (monthly
recurring transaction only), Cash Treats, Cash Advance, Balance Transfer, Quasi Cash.
 Payment to JomPay
 FPX transaction – payment to service providers.
 Refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent retail transactions;
 Payment for transactions, payment of annual card membership fees, interest payments,
late payment fees, charges for cash withdrawals;
 Any other form of service or miscellaneous fees i.e. legal fees, statement reprint request
fees etc.


FPX transaction – payment to service providers means if like pay shopee with credit card, then FPX shows up and send a OTP code one, this not included in cashback? and what about Boost?

Which means, if online shopping when payment got pop out the FPX, means no cashback right

but if not mistaken, most of the online shopping use FPX one, although most of the time I shop at Shopee only

then what about auto debit for like insurance or medical card? anyone try this before? Because I just update my AIA payment recently using cc, and realize that they pay to ipay88 1st, not sure is FPX or not as I register as auto debit

Hi, I apply a few times already for Maybank Barcelona, but they rejected my application although my annual income exceed the requirement. I think I apply online for 3 times, the 1st 2 times I receive email that my application got rejected, 3rd one not sure and I didnt pay attention to it afterward.

then today suddenly I receive SMS notification at 6 pm today from maybank that my card application approved? But I login to my maybank account and the card column there still empty? is it that need wait a few days?

Haha, I have no hope for this year already actually, because my annual income exceed the annual requirement due to high bonus at year end. Apply 1 time at counter failed, then apply online also fail a few times, planning to apply again next year... but who would have thought.... so sudden.. haha

For maybank credit card, they send to our address or we go collect at their branch? Because I kind of forget which one I choose last time. and if deliver how long does it take? because its 11th May today, want to get the cashback

It seems that my Barcelona FC got approved after I write email appeal to them, I apply the card during CNY, got rejected, then write email appeal to them at 29th Mar, and got finally approved yesterday

haha, I got insurance ready to pay at rm 4.8k, just now waiting for the card, hopefully arrive early, because lots of holiday this month
