EzyPay Plus is not eligible at all for cashback. Stated in TNC. EzyPay is eligible for cashback for the total amount charged to the card. Let's say you purchase something worth RM2500 on April 2019 by EzyPay using Maybank FCB Card for 12 month installment. You will get full cashback for April 2019. But the installment amount for subsequent months (May, June, July........), not entitled for cashback
*
Yup. EzyPay is entitled for cashback. Own experience for last month, purposely swipe on Saturday, 5k, and go for instalment, so supposed will get max cashback which is RM 50. But then today check my account, not RM 50, made a call to CS, and said get back to me soon.

Voila, get back to me about 3 hours later, stated that i shall get the full RM 50 cash back, and will be credited to me in few working days for the lacking amount.

P/s: after further asking, CS said that Ezpay no X5 point huh? So i will get 5k points in stead of 25k points... dry.gif

Are you talking about MBB2 AMEX?
This is MBB VS and MBB FCB VS thread.
Even though it's MBB cards but readers may get confused.  rclxub.gif

Just cancelled FCB last week. CS not even surprised and straight away proceed to deactivate card. No longer active in M2U the next day.

Actually, RM 25 service tax annually, not that bad right? I am not saying you cancelled because of the service tax la. I don’t think that with the 1% cb, we cant really get back that RM 25 back, in 365 days.

CC not really just good in cb amount/percentage, but also how useful it is. With higher CL on a single CC, we can treat the 1%cb as a bonus, as we can make big purchase seamlessly.

Of course everybody disappointment with the merely 1% cb. But, RM 25 annually to retain a good CC (for me MBB CCs are good), is really not that bad.

A swipe of an OKAY smart phone/annual insurance if you pay it annually/few times of good meals with family in a year/total spent on petrol in a year, easily get back the RM 25.

Of course still better cards out there i suppose. Specifically for dining, specifically for petrol, specifically for online.

RM 25 yearly for a nice CC? It is a deal.

To people that is still using the Barcelona Visa Signature, what role does this card plays in yr CC strategy? Is it your main CB card? or using it in tandem with other cards? Trying to get a perspective from the user end. Terminating my PBB Quantum card soon and found that I have 2 options:

1. MBB FCB Visa Sig
2. UOB One Classic

The former being ease of mind and dont have to worry about minimum spending while the latter one provides higher cash back amount.

P/S: I don't usually spend above rm500 per month and my CC spending priority is a follow:

Insurance, Telco, Online Shopping, Petrol, Food, Offline Shopping. - From highest priority (left) to lowest priority (right)

Barcelona is always a good big purchase / backup cc. Since the day it changed to 1%, it becomes my last card to use when all my other cash back credit cards maximized.

But, if one of my purchases is about 5k, i will direct swipe this card. Anyway, i am using it for my business use so ya, this Barcelona still a good card for me.

30k annual spend to waive annual fee. That's 2.5k a month, can hit ah?
*
Personal use, some might not easy to hit, especially if got others cc.

Business use then just fine.

Ewallet reload might count towards annual spend too. Even it doesnt contribute any cashback from ewallet usage. If want this VS but worry when close to anniversary still not yet hit 30k spending, ewallet may help.

interested to get this VS finally:

1) does the annual min rm30k spend for af waiver still valid? last I checked from mbb website, still listed as 30k

2) for annual af waiver spending, does FPX or JOMPay or ewallets counted? anyone brave enough tested it? smile.gif

3) since I'm existing mbb cardholder, year1 AF waived automatically?

thanks
*
1. Yes. My SST charge on last April, and no annual fee as my expenses > 30k.
2. Yes for ewallet, i never use this VS for neither FPX nor Jompay, all transactions are petrol and groceries, and yes i did top up for ewallet too although i know no cashback nor point.
3. Yes, 1st year AF waived. I am existing mbb cc user more than 10 years and i just add on this VS last year.

How u add on the VS, fresh application with income documents?
*
Yup. Mine is fresh application with submission of income documents. Through m2u web application, super fast, not even 24 hours then sms came approved ald. Thinking to take the m2p, but hmmms, at the end go for pbb VI. Haha, i don like the feeling need to spend certain threshold then only AF free. Mbb VS spend 30k annual still ok. If 80k then i got other cardS to spend on.
