Went to baskin robin to eat ice cream. Direct deduct from my existing points. 400 points =RM 1. Is it worth ?
It is equal to 0.025% cash back. I just wonder majority of people spending on VS card, which category are you all spend on? VS is my main card, but I start to wonder whether it is wise to use this card. Cash rebate on petrol is good. But I just can't spend RM 1760 every month on petrol to maximise my cash back.

i think it should be 0.25%

Hi, how did you pay indah water using credit card? Thanks
*
i use OCBC cashflo card to pay indah water, via ocbc online banking. can get 0.5% cashback

can also pay indah water via maybank2u by creditcard (maybank master/visa, but not barcelona visa as of now), but offers no treatpoint.
if barcelona card is accepted for jompay via maybank2u, maybe can get 2%

I've search through this thread for reloading Bigpay with FCB, and to double confirm, I'm entitled for the 2% cash rebate right? (10% for this month)

Another card to do so is PBB quantum master card and PBB VS, right?

I have no intention to withdraw from Bigpay, only to store my unused cashback quota for the cards.
*
based on my statement this month,
I top up big pay in April with

1. FCB VS gives me 2% rebate
2. PBB VS gives me 6% rebate

What are you guys talking about?
What's with the Sept thing?

Making use of the transaction date and posting date rules to get Rm50 rebates with spending of Rm500 instead of RM2500 spending

Do it at own risk

Scenario based on the following assumption
- Top up bigpay RM500 on 31st August 1150pm (you do own testing, trial and error, before 31st August to get the safe time margin)
- the transaction date wil be 31st August, and the posting date wil be 1st September
- with that, since the transaction date fall on August, then cashback percentage will be 10%
- since the posting date falls on September, the cash rebate will use the September quota (max Rm50 per month)
- conclusion, spend rm500 to get rm50 rebates. No need spend rm2500 to get rm50 rebates

Risk:
- if both the transaction date and posting date falls on 31st August, AND if you already got rm100 rebate for august, then you will not get anymore rebate from the rm500 you top up
- if both the transaction date and posting date falls on 1st September, then you will get 2% cash rebate from the rm500 spending

UOB to Maybank, usually +1 day, but +2 days is possible.
*
agree for the posting date.

but beware that UOB may process your payment late. when UOB process your payment, you will receive confirmation email from UOB (which is usually not instantly after you key in OTP, sometimes maybe one minutes, sometimes maybe a day or two for UOB to process your payment)

it is good to note that the transaction date follows the timing when UOB process your payment.
transaction date will not follow the timing when you key in OTP.
(i know this because i used to "pay later" function before)

therefore to me, pay via uob payonline a bit risky.

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Aug 15 2018, 06:28 PM)
Not sure I should take a risk paying Cukai Taksiran on the very last day and risk the penalty RM20. Hmmm
*
take uob payonline as a collecting agent. once uob payonline received your money, it may takes them few working days to update the payment to local town council system.

if u pay on 31/8 (public holiday), highly likely that the local town council will receive the money later than 31/8 and this will cost you penalty
