Hi Sifus, I just applied Visa Barcelona online and I received this after upload my document 'Your application is approved in principle. We will notify you on the application status via SMS and/or Email'. So this mean I have a high chance of getting this card right?

My case was that I applied via maybank2u and received e-mail said it has been rejected. So I tried to apply via e-mail as suggested.. 2 hours later I received sms said it has been rejected. My salary is credited to Maybank and the annual salary has met the requirement. Can anyone share how long would be the waiting period to re-apply again?

I checked with BigPay that they mentioned they are not e-wallet. So, we would still be getting cash back for topping up BP?

Just noticed annual fee for my Maybank Visa Signature is waved.

I think I have spend RM30k smile.gif

I got my card and activated in July. May I know is your anniversary month for the year is in July or August? The CS told me I have to spend 30K before May cause June next year will charge Annual Fees. I wonder what is the meaning of Free 1st year annual fees?

if 31/8 spend ,  but post on 1/9 (late post)  , you should get 31/8's transaction 10% CB on Sep's CB (as adjustment as long as your 10% quota still available)
However, this is an answer from one CS. I not sure other CS will say the same thing or not. Anyone can call CS to confirm with above scenario ?
You can check the CB when come to end of Sep.

I check with the website : https://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/FCB-Vi...reCBack_TNC.pdf

Clause 4 mentioned that 'Cash rebate is calculated based on transaction posted by the merchants in a month.' So it follows posting date? I wonder if we can rely on the website cashback terms and condition above.

My FCB almost no use, today maybank called got facebook charges to my card, but it was immediately block by their system. A total of 7x transaction ranging rm100-180.

Good about maybank is the card autoblock and it didnt reflected in my transaction history.
Unlike cimb, got posted to statement, and need manually call dispute etc etv
*
Wow - is that a common fraud charges to FCB card holder? I use it quite often especially for Auto bill payment. I got that FB charges too - found out from the app notification. Immediately called and get a card replacement.

I just cancelled my Visa Signature - not manage to use 30K last year and got charged for RM 550 annual fees. The nice thing is if there's no usage after the annual fees charges - the annual fees can be reversed. Now left only the FCB

Depends on you whether you think it is worthwhile to pay the annual fee. Maybank doesn't waive it. I cut mine

I cut mine too after being asked to check with the management for waiver 2 times.
