PIN & Pay replacement card or newly applied VS?

Takes some time. Saw it in my M2U in July but only got it two weeks ago.

For me, I got it the day after the notification appeared in my M2U. So happened, the bank official called me the next day. Sadly, once I collected the card, they got my name spelt wrongly, so I activated my card anyway and am waiting for my replacement card.

His is new application not PIN & Pay replacement card.

Just got off the phone with Maybank over some cash rebate figures mismatch, thought I should share it here.

When I called up the bank to verify, I was being told that the transaction on the 29/04 (transaction date) is posted on 01/05. Therefore, the cashback amount shall be reflected in 01/06.

Me : Hi, I would like to check on my cashback amount for the month of April. There seems to be some mistakes here.
He : Sure, *proceeded to list the transactions which are eligible for cash back except the one on 29/04*
Me : Could you please explain why the transaction on the 29/04 is not eligible for cashback?
He : From what I can see in the system, this transaction is posted on 01/05, therefore this shall be under May.
Me : There seems to be a mistake here. I believe MBB has released a revised T&C, whereby all cash rebate shall be based on transaction date, in which case, this shall be April regardless of the posting date.
He : No Sir, it has always been based on posting date. Furthermore, I don't see any issue here, in fact it is even better as the month of May, you're entitled to 10%.
Me : Could you please clarify then which cash back pool does this transaction falls under? April or May?
He : May.
Me : There is the issue then. If the transaction is in April, and as per your bank's revised T&C, this has to be in April. This actually exhausted my spending pool for May when it should be in April.
He : From what I can see, it is no issue here. However, if you insist to rework this amount to April, we have to do it manually for you.
Me : Yea, please rework this into April and clear it from my allocated pool for May.

From what I can see, it appears that they are just tweaking the rules as they see fit. In line with clause 4) and 5) of their revised TnC, it is almost identical to how they word it. Transacted on 29/04, posted on 01/05, cash rebate will be calculated based on 30/04. Therefore, this should be as per 30/04.

Felt like double whammy by the bank - Reduce my payout for April, reduce spending of my card in May.

It is an ewallet, someone reported not getting CB using Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Card.

Why not buy Setel or Petronas Giftcard at Shopee, you should easily get more than >2% savings, and FCB VS 2% cashback.

yes, everyone have to pay SST for Barcelona, so far none have successful get waiver or loyalty rebate for this card

My epay account... I can never adjust the premium I want to pay. The payment amount is already fixed by GE epay.

I am not sure about your case, the e-connect payment amount is editable if you want to make the payment via credit card manually (I changed payment method to cash). I never make payment like this, it will be my first time.

If MBB charge SST in Aug 2020, can I cancel the card to "not pay" SST ?

Hopefully with the mass cancellation, Maybank will u turn their revision who knows?

After many years of using mbb cc, the 1st card i recommend is still the maybank 2 cards, amex. Everyone should get it.  Haha.

Barcelona is more of the btw, you should apply this too.

anyone know what is this issue? trying to checkout with Shopee, is it gateway issue or Maybank's issue?
