Any sifu experience how to get credit limit increment from Maybank? I applied for their Visa Signature hoping to increase the credit limit automatically by submitting my latest payslip & EPF statement. Just got approved yesterday and checked online now, didn't get any increment on credit limit at all. It is the lowest credit limit among 9 others bank credit card I have.

I just applied ambank, uob & Citibank recently, the credit limit they given is 2 - 3 times of Maybank. And the later i apply, the higher the credit limit I get.

Just applied 1 more AEON Card, AEON Big Gold Visa by submitting my latest payslip. Got approved and increase my credit limit from 20% lower than MBB to 33% higher than MBB. Seems like MBB is the most stingy in given credit limit. haha..

For all treat points earn in Visa Signature, when we cancel the card, we can transfer the treat points to others card right?

Apply for credit limit increase after receive this card. Got 33% credit limit increase.

Anyone had tried spend in overseas groceries and got cash back 5%? I know T & C stated just for local groceries, just wish to see practise wise any exception found?

I login M2U to apply. Need to upload NRIC & 1 mth Payslip as well.

After 30 minutes, received email that the application is unsuccessful although I'm holding MBB 2 Plat Cards & MBB Visa Signature..

For those who wants FC Barcelona VS, and currently is MBB credit card holder, holding higher income requirement of credit cards from MBB (i.e. MBB 2 Platinum, MBB VS and so on), you could email your

1. Full I/C Number (Don't need attached scanned I/C)
2. last 4 digit of your current credit card on hand (For verification purpose)

to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my

They will proceed your application without any documents to be submitted.


This is an alternative way (easier way) to apply for those who are interested, got rejected by M2U automatically and not stay/work near any MBB Card Centre.

Haha.. I same case like you.. I will wait for the credit card cash back tomorrow, paid the spending balance after deduct rebate, then call to cancel it..

I would suggest top up to BigPay RM1k to maximize the cash back and spend later with BigPay. Even spend within 1 year (If your card spending is really minimal) also worth it as 1k put FD 3.3% return for 1 year only

40,000 pts = RM100 conversion into cash back applicable for Maybank Visa Signature (Not Barcelona Card yea..) only.. I had called Customer Service to convert before..
