From my experience, forget the M2U application as technical glitch may happen and reject your application.
http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/ConvCardAppForm.pdf
Email the application form (16 pages), IC and income documents to maybankardsales@maybank.com.my
*
TS can put the above link to first page? So anyone looking for application form can get it easier.

And when your rejection email dated?
*
I suppose it is from M2U, i just noticed the very small printed date on the letter, around the date i received failed sms from M2U.

Meaning my email application still under process, hope can know the status either today or tomorrow.

I waited 8 calendar days to get the approval after sending an email.
I helped someone to apply thru email, nearly 2 weeks till today also never get any acceptance or rejection.
*
That's way too long. I check my M2U just now, already appear FCB there pending activation, yeah. icon_rolleyes.gif

Actually if you want to set maximum spending you should set 5k or something like that, as you don't (have to) pay your bill exactly on statement date, and can continue to build up interest-free spending for the next 20 days....
*
Don't understand what that mean confused.gif
If spend 5k only get max RM 50 CB = 1%, why ?

BTW, received my FCB card today, should be fully used up all the CB next week on SG trip just by paying hotel sweat.gif sweat.gif

Assume your statement date is 1st of the month. So 1st December you have a statement saying "pay RM2500 to Maybank". You can pay immediately or (like most kiasu people) pay 20 days later at 0 interest.

If your CL is 2500, you can no longer use your card until you make payment, even though the new spending on 1st December onwards will earn you 2% (new month).

Of course, if 20 days of interest-free cash doesn't sound good to you, then maybe 2.5k CL is enough....
*
I see. i thought we are talking about maximum spending, not about CL. I assume everyone have over 5k CL here

actually if read again the original thread (post #2007), what our friend meant is do not swipe FCBVS over RM2.5K per month coz hit the cb capping already.

the confusing word used is 'set'  laugh.gif
*
Ya, thats why I'm confusing. at least u and i are still in the same channel. hahaha

for me, i rarely reach the cap for personal spending, unless emergency.

but best to utilize during company business trip, for hotel. payment

Yup, that's what I am doing, FCB VS weekdays, M2C amex weekends.
For me, that can maximize both cards RM50 cash back biggrin.gif
*
Me too, using maybank 3 cards combo. usually Amex card very fast hit 1k limit just by pay bill and ptptn. Ikhwan rarely hit 1k usage for petrol, groceries and reload tng. other spending will go to FCB, especially frequent visit to baby clinic that charge 1.5% extra. estimate total cb around rm100

If I have outstanding amount across several Maybank cards, VS, AMEX, etc that share credit limit, can I just pay a lump sum to a single card and it will be apportioned automatically?
*
If u mean pay tru M2U, need to pay to each card respectively cos it does not accept amount more than your current outstanding.

Sometime I paid statement amount but transaction failed because of outstanding amount is lower after deducted cash back.

My wife applied online for M2Card and VS FCB last week, received within 3 days. I am surprise for the approval speed! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

i tot no cashback at all. so just to share (may be redundant). it is installment in traveloka during purchase by the way. not sure about converting it thru maybank (if any)
*
if it is so, means installment is able to get cash back if it is not maybank ezpay hmm.gif

Even though no CB for Ezy Payment, alternatively if you buy from Lazada, you can always earn 1% CB from Shopback (Lazada Apps). I did earn CB 1% from my phone purchase from Lazada recently on 11.11.

Got cash back for installment plan lah

i don't mind paying back the RM44 cashback, what i mean is whether i can spend RM1000 this month to get full cashback (RM56) or RM3200?
*
In my opinion, u are owing maybank RM44, and it does not relate to this month cash back.
So by right you should be able to spend RM1000 to get RM100 cash back.
