let me share my experience
1) 10/10 - applied on via m2u but did not complete the application, stopped at employment details section
2) 13/10 - received automated email saying application will be automatically cancelled if did not complete by that day
3) 16/10 - received an email from MBB telesales notifying to complete the attached application form and supporting documents
4) 17/10 - replied the email above saying I'm existing M2 plat holder, so requesting to add Barca VS without any documents
5) 17/10 - requesting some info to confirm my identify and to proceed with application without documents but will retain existing CL
6) 19/10 - received email saying application in process
7) 26/10 - received sms saying approved

though slow but since I'm not rushing to get it, still a great job by MBB

finally received my card yesterday
already 3001, thk their target 15k holders can be achieved pretty soon

even with 1 machine, it can embossed pretty fast too

normally must charge full to airline, cannot charge to travel agency

I oso took the easy way of total up everything and then rounding up/down the total

too bad for you, the reversal of the deposit wiped out your RM100 cash back
but then, you should get RM100 1st before they reverse it, better call cs

if pay using m2u, you cannot pay more than your outstanding balance

so i guess next update will be M2 amex no cb for FPX

from my interpretation of #4, should have cashback for Aug
perhaps maybank has to delay calculation of cb for everyone, definitely not on 1st, maybe on 7th
