Is FCB VS still the best card for cash back currently?

It depends on your usage. It is one of the better cards with no fuss, all categories are applicable, so no need to think so much.

I see. Thank you so much for your input.

"best" is subjective  laugh.gif depends on what you are aiming: good cb rate? good monthly cb? convenient to use? relaxed T&C?

I would go for good cb rate and convenient to use.

imo...

depends on what and how you use it, many cb cards are available e.g uob yolo @ 8%, or pbb cards 5%/6% for specific categories.

else, leverage on Bigpay for convenience (no restrictions in categories), then many other cards are available to reload bigpay, e.g. pbb cards 5%/6%, scb cards 3.x%, etc

even with FCB VS, use on May/Oct for 10% cb rate @ rm100 max cb, which is darn good, but limited to 2 months per year. if reload to bigpay, then can spread the fund for multiple months of usage...

Oh I see. Normally I donโ€™t use bigpay, I now got quantum MasterCard and MBB Amex, so looking for a card not cover by this 2

Seems like this card sufficient for my usage

ok this is a bit complicated.

I apply for the Barcelona Visa Signature in my hometown's branch and request them to mail to my office in KL.

But for some reason, the card ended up arrived in my hometown's branch, so i requested them to mail to my office.

Now the problem is since the branch can't do so without the instruction from KL HQ, so i called to SC and request them to make such a request.

So the SC told me that the SOP is ordering the branch to destroy the card and they will issue a new card to me. which is fine by me.

But i dunno why, I ended up receiving 2 cards, one from KL and one from my hometown branch. Same card with same number.. doh.gif

How do I handle this? Can I just ignore the other card and activate just one card? Or once activated, both cards can be used and charged under me? rclxub.gif

Then just activate either one and cut the other one. I think it's a good news if they keep the information same, less headache.
*
I see. Noted. Thank you

Just curious, if I donโ€™t cut, means I can use both intermittently? ๐Ÿค”

Maybe yes.
Maybe No. It is a EMV card, data is changing in the chip to avoid cloned cards.
It is safer to use the second card then destroy the first one.
*
I see. I will google what is EMV card.

Thank you again ๐Ÿ˜Š

Just type bigpay or touch n go & search.
Try to choose preferred sellers. They charge 3%, thus no point to do it now.
Me too.

Thank you so much.

This is different compared to the previous discussion regarding to the Shopee (Online) transaction right?

I am still trying to understand what is that.

MBB Ikhwan for groceries petrol, MBB AMex now quite useful at all major merchants, Online Cards 5% and shift across e-wallets lo..

If not wrong OCBC and Hong Leong also got a 1% anything card. BigPay can be offset for online card benefits if needed. Citi Cahsback also damn good for lower expenses ppl.. spend RM500 get 10% on dining, petrol, grocery limit rm10 per category only la. HLB Wise similar categories too

What you means by online card 5% and shift across e wallets?
