Just paid using Apple Pay at Ikea Damansara using iPhone as my Apple Watch battery died 😂 surprisingly it didn’t need to be very near to the terminal to detect.

Today paid using my Apple Watch at Sushi King, smooth. Some says when you already unlocked your phone moving it near the credit card terminal will auto open Apple Pay wallet app, is the Apple Watch the same?
Just now I double press the side button to open the wallet app on my watch |

Just paid in ikea cafe using Apple Watch, first double click on side button to open wallet, swipe to open my ikea family card bar code which is stored in the Wallet as well default card was my Maybank cc, then tap the screen once to change to my Maybank cc, payment done.
