I tried to use apple pay in uniqlo retail store in midvalley and it works.

so any terminal with paywave function should be able to use apple pay.

just have to wait our malaysia bank to support it.

Idk what is with the samsungpay and their logic about the terminal not setup for applepay coz the paywave thing with all CC are the same with applepay. we all have used applepay without any issue, just that we had to use a foreign bank acc for it.

really cant wait to use applepay coz all these ewallets are useless and since there are so many of them, its annoying to have to keep up with all their promo. just give me applepay and a CC with good perks and i'm all game to spend kaw kaw

agree...and i really hate those eWallets that need you to topup. Ended up you have money balance all over the places. Hence I mostly only use Fave Pay. They deduct my CC directly. The only Topup eWallet I am using is TnG. That one no choice...coz RFID sweat.gif

TnG can directly deduct from card. No need topup

Yes...this is one of their latest features called donno what quick payment. You can spend even though your wallet doesnt have enough balance. After you spend then they will deduct the amount from you CC. And also the auto-reload function when your balance falls below a certain amount...

Then this raise another Q....why still so many stupid drivers stuck in RFID toll for not sufficient balance? I am not saying those stuck because it cannot detect your RFID, but those that detected and u see the screen/signboard says not enough balance... rclxub.gif

Some time it is due to sticker faulty or their RFID reader issue. Not really is the tng ewallet balance not enough. But so far I have no issue with my RFID sticker.

yeah...that's what I was saying. I am not complaining about faulty sticker. I am saying those where the signboard said "insufficient balance". Means their sticker is fine, but thier wallet is not... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Malaysian banks are so stupid not supporting Apple Pay and prefer to watch as Boost, TnG and Grab take their market share. Apple Pay & Android Pay are their only weapon to fight back eWallet incumbents!
*
I agree, coz i see ppl start using ewallet more than credit cards.
But think about it, most people topup their ewallet using credit card (like me and my wife). Maybe there are bank charges to those ewallet company like how they charge merchants whose accept credit card? That's why they don't really care about it yet?

SamsungPay, launched.
HuaweiPay, launched.
ApplePay, *krik krik krik*

Seriously, why Apple don’t want to apply for licence with BNM?
*
I think the main question is...how many Apple users in MY in compare with Samsung and Huawei.

I think there is just not enough users base, hence the banks in Malaysia also don't bother.

I heard that Malaysian banks are not interested because of the interest charges that Apple charges them to use Apple Pay
