I use my AMEX at petrol station for petrol and bread. Sad enough they don't accept paywave but only pin. So regardless I think I still need to bring along the card. McD, pizzahut and other eateries accept AMEX paywave. Don't know why most of the petrol station don't accept paywave. Anyone knows why?

Ok then Petron and Caltex do not accept AMEX paywave. I don't pump Shell because of bad experience with car jerking. Could be misfired etc. And I don't pump Caltex that much because I calculated the fuel consumption and comparing various petrol brand and Petron is the best in my list though. Caltex only occasionally when it's reaching Monday 12am 😂 cause it's near to my house. PETRONAS is among all the worse with fuel consumption. Not sure when Petron or Caltex is going to realize the practice is not friendly or convenience for their customer at all.

Yeah, accept but pay with pin and cannot wave. That's the problem.

Hi anyone knows what happens if the cashier told me payment unsuccessful with Maybank AMEX? My iPhone didn’t tell me payment not successful and no response at all. The 3rd time I tried with my Maybank debit card it was a success. By the way made the payment in Caltex petrol station.

I’m surprised cause the cashier told me they accept AMEX and I perform similar transaction at Caltex without just last weekend without issue. Any possibility Caltex does not accept Apple Pay? 🤔
