Am i the only one not getting transaction history showed in Wallet?
But MAE app shows deducted and merchants side is paid
*
I too had the same issue. First purchase didn't show up, but second one did. Neither received a notification through MAE.

PS: Don't be like me and toggle on/off the transactions "show history" as that will remove all past transactions doh.gif

Any petron stations can wave at pump?
*
Can't say for Petron, however I have tried at Shell using Maybank Debit Visa. To my surprise, the RM200 pre-auth was instantly refunded upon filling up, and the actual amount was charged right away. Interestingly though, the transaction in M2U shows up as "Sale Debit" in All Transactions, but not in the Debit Card history (which shows other AP transactions in detail, such as merchant name).

Just all shell stations or just only few shell stations do that?

I'm in East Malaysia and haven't tries contactless pump shell, instead I just pay it near counter (Apple Pay barely works by counter because of thick glass lol)
*
So far I have only tried the one near my area (couple times), but I would assume it'd work the same across others. Need confirmation from other forumers. I did however use my watch to pay instead of phone, but again, both should be the same result.

Hi all, quick update to the Apple Pay missing transactions. I have contacted Maybank and this was their solution. Contrary to what my first post was about "avoiding to disable/enable transaction history", that was the way to solve it. Apologies to cause confusion to others.

Steps:-
1. Disable "Show History" in the card details under Transactions in the wallet app.
2. Force close the wallet app.
3. Restart your phone.
4. Re-enable "Show History". Wait a few minutes and it should show.
5. If 4 didn't work, force close the app once again and restart.

These above steps worked for me, and hope it can work for you all too. Should they not work, I suggest to contact them and report as well.

Side note: There was still one transaction missing for me, and all previous transactions map data have been lost. I have asked Maybank for a follow up to this and will update here whenever they get back to me.

not working for me, those missing one still didn't show up.
But it appear in my MAE app, not really sure is the wallet app still haven't fully integrated with bank or what

Same not working for me, tried to force close and restart for twice.

Hmm, maybe it is a case by case basis then (maybe something they did on their side to make it work on my side). My suggestion is to contact them via social media channels, I used Twitter. They are somewhat responsive and have always contacted them through that channel rather than by call.

Provide them plenty of screenshots such as notifications received from MAE, screenshot of missing transaction in the Wallet app, what transactions are supposed to look like (maybe screenshots you might have from when it was working / image from google also can)

I am using Maybank Visa Debit and using iOS 15.6.1 if that helps for context.

Can any of you fellow forumers confirm with the introduction of AMEX to Apple Pay, whether the transactions get synced up? Meaning whether you can view transactions made with physical card on iPhone/AW, or made with AW and viewable on the iPhone wallet app? I've seen posts about it in the US that such feature exists, but it is depends on the AMEX card. Wondering if Maybank's AMEX cards support this.

Hi guys, if i wanna use apple pay at oversea, do i need to call bank to activate anything?
*
If you are using a Maybank Debit Card, you may need to enable the "Overseas Debit Card Activation" in M2U > Settings > Cards > Manage Debit Cards.

If you are using Maybank CC, based on their FAQ, you don't need to inform them. Not sure about other banks.

Anyone tried to add 1 same card to 2 different iPhones with different Apple ID?

Thinking to add my card for my sister for backup usage but I need to keep the physical card myself and the card is already added into mine Apple Pay.

Added my MAE to 3 devices seperately with different apple ID(Mom's, Sister's and my own), all worked just fine. I think there's a physical limit on MBB side to 5 devices per card, so you should be fine as long as it's below 5 devices at once.
*
According to Maybank's Apple Pay FAQ, they support up to 10 devices for 1 card. Not sure for other banks.

Try this. I yet to try too. Found in Reddit by /u/deepfried_mind
I will use a UK address.

Workaround:
Issue a digital card from a different country (basically change your address to another country, create a digital card, change it back to your actual address). The newly created digital card can be added to apple wallet for contactless.

Change your country under your profile on the top right corner -> Edit, once you've changed your country, the next digital card you make will be the country your profile is set in. Worked for both myself and a friend of mine, we changed to the UK.

Note that your physical card will still be the same, ie. Wave & Apple Wallet incompatible, only the digital card will work.

Edit: Just tested. Confirmed working.
Easy don't need to bring physical card out overseas in the future.

Cross quoted from the Wise thread. Do note that some forumers were not able to change their country for this workaround. I also don't know if this breaks any of their T&C so proceed at your own discretion.

Want to get fellow forumers experience with using Apple Pay at the petrol pump (Shell in my case), specifically those using AMEX. When using AP with Visa credit/debit, after refuelling, immediately in my recent transactions in wallet will show the actual amount filled (not the RM200 pre-auth). However, when using AP with AMEX credit, it only ever shows RM200 as the amount, and never updates to the actual amount in the wallet app. Anyone facing this similar issue? Or is Visa's network "superior" to do these kinds of updates? Both my cards are from Maybank.

In the video from 0:08 - 0:10, I don't like that it's edited. So from this video, we don't know if it will support "Express Travel", and subsequently, when user tap their regular card, whether it will automatically open or have to wait a few seconds for it to do authorisation.

Hi guys, can I add the same credit card to two Apple Wallets using two different Apple IDs? Plan to use the same card in Apple Pay to reload to the Japan IC cards stored in our Apple Wallets.

Note: These two Apple IDs are not from the same country.
*
Last time this forumer below managed to enrol their MAE card into 3 devices, so it should work for credit cards as well (assuming you are using Maybank). In regards to different country, as long as in the Wallet app you can add a card, you should be able to enrol the card.

My findings from back in January (not sure if it has been revised, need to check with your respective bank), there are limits to how many devices you can enrol your card into.

I wonder why tho, is it Apple Pay have higher charges fee?

By right the MDR charged by the bank is the same (I noticed it was a Maybank terminal). My guess is that JPJ wants the actual card number so they can track who is the card owner, bank name, etc.
